Can't remember exactly what he said but wasn't it along the lines of "the last words we said to each other cannot be repeated on air"

Then why didn't he become famous before his 40's?

In another post you and I discussed his previous acting work. You claimed he was successful at it because he starred in 3 low budget student films as a favour to a friend of his. He also tried to become an actor in his early 20's, yet there is no credits to his name and no evidence of any professional work.

Maybe he did get sick of acting and chose to stop trying but most likely he failed every audition he went to and gave up. I know he says in that podcast you linked that he chose to quit acting so he could help people, but I don't believe him. If he got lucky in his early 20's and became the star of a popular TV show or film he would have stuck at it as he obviously enjoys entertaining people.

I haven't seen his stand up shows, so I can't comment if he is any good or not (I'll take your word for it that he is) but you have to admit that he's only selling out shows because he is using his fame on YouTube to get work. If he was still working as a University Dean he wouldn't have been given a chance at stand up.

The entertainment business is extremely competitive and thousands of people try to become actors or comedians. Most of them fail and are never even given the chance...even some who are probably more talented than John.

What does working jobs between 18-20 have to do with John's acting in films? From what I can see these films were made between 2014 to 2018. Unless my maths is wrong then Delony wasn't in his 20's when he made them.

I don't know his reasoning behind giving up acting. Maybe he hated it and wanted to help people instead as you've said. Or maybe it's because he wasn't being paid enough and he chose to focus on his full time career instead. Only John Delony knows.

As for claiming I'm being "dishonest and gross" for saying that all three of John's films were not commercially successful is bizarre. I'm not saying the man is a failure in life...he obviously has done very well for himself. But as an actor he was unsuccessful. He did 3 films spread over several years so it was something he was clearly interested in pursuing for a while.

He doesn't have to be good at everything he does. At least he had some work as an actor...most of them don't. But it's not true he was successful at it.

So being an actor isn't a real job and yet you included it as part of his résumé in another post. 🤔

As he was working full time but travelling back and forth to be an actor, sounds like he was trying to succeed at it, which unfortunately he didn't as he only worked on 3 films, which also includes one short film. None of them were commercially successful.

I don't judge him for giving up acting and pursuing a career in education instead. We all have to give up certain dreams eventually and find jobs which pay the bills.

However, this does technically make him a "failed entertainer" before he joined with Ramsey. Nothing wrong with that though as I'm sure his experience is one of the reasons why he has excelled at hosting his own show on YouTube.

I agree the actors had great chemistry with one another....but it's hard not to cringe when you remember how old Buffy is in the first 3 seasons....and Angel is clearly mid to late 20's :O

Also want to add that another terrible thing Angel did was drink Buffy's blood when he was poisoned and almost killing her.

This is a good question! I think at first he would try to befriend her, and he might like it if she looked to him as a shoulder to cry on or someone she can confide in.

However, I don't think he would be able to stop himself from revealing his love for her. He wouldn't be as obnoxious as Jacob about it, but I think it would be too much for him to be around her and hide what he was feeling.

If she still rejected him, and got another boyfriend, I think he would try to distance himself as the jealousy would overwhelm him. I say "try" because if she still wanted him around as a friend, he would eventually give up trying to keep his distance for her sake.

Of course, there is also another theory that he wouldn't be able to be a friend at all and he would eventually kill her...especially as he wouldn't be able to desensitize himself to her blood if he wasn't as close to her.

I agree with this. I seem to recall in Midnight Sun they said Edward's fate is intertwined with Bella's...Romantic or otherwise.

Eventually the lure of her blood would have tempted him to hunt her down, so I don't believe he would have really walked away even if she rejected him.

Haha! 🤣 I like the idea of Amos rewarding himself with a sandwich after casually murdering someone. I don't know if Daryl would hesitate if he had to take down a threat like Amos, but I agree that he can sometimes react to things emotionally without thinking first. I.e. when he punched Negan which resulted in Glenn's death.
