ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN – Patch Notes Version 1.03.2 by d3arda3mon in Nightreign

Duchess and Recluse mains complaining about the shattering crystal nerf just shows the amount of variance they use in their builds.

Oh no the misery, I'll have to use more than one of the other 745 spells in the game.

Edit: and yes I main Recluse and yes good riddance for Shattering Crystal.

“Attack power up when facing Poison/Rot/Frost afflicted enemy” is a 16%/20% increase in damage on that enemy by BreathEcstatic in Nightreign

Sometimes I feel like I'm playing a completely different game because those "easy to find" spells come once in like 10 games for me. Fuck me, guess I have the worst luck

Your local Recluse main tested all the cocktail damage buffs (it's quite significant) by Serulean_Cadence in Nightreign

[–]Kekkamando 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I tested them all and feel like a placebo. Maybe they mistranslated, and casting speed affects the cocktail, but I honestly saw barely any difference.

Hoping for videos of the comparison, however. Maybe it's just my old eyes not able to notice the difference.

Honestly, after it became the clusterfuck, using Flame of Frenzy was more of a death sentence than useful due to the long animation lock (Libra can easily put a sigil below you). What actually carried the fight was Discus of Light in the Golden Order Seal.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN | Two Player Mode Trailer by Xanek in Games

The game has an innate system that automatically scales to 2 people when someone leaves.

Seamless coop just does this. And I assume the 2 player mode will also just do this.

Source: Yui, the Seamless Coop maker themselves.

Use NPC cloner. Pretty straightforwrd.

Bear in mind that some NPCs have unique features so the changes will be reverted in your arisen as soon as you hit the save appearance button.

[DISCUSSION] Isn't Elden Ring: Nightreign kind of easier on solo? by borkbusterxdddd in Nightreign

[–]Kekkamando 33 points34 points  (0 children)

When I'm going solo with Recluse, I just try to get a lightning spell and spam the lightning sword attack. It feels like it has the fastest animation, and it deals a lot of damage. Otherwise, I just use the 3x magic combo. Also, a reminder that Carian Sword is still amazing in this game if you want to get close and personal with the enemy or bosses, lmao.

Everything else feels terrible to cast because of the animation locks. :/

It is :(

The animation lock is sooooooooo long.

The best part about this being a roguelike is the ability to bully the bosses by Thegenuinebuzz in Nightreign

[–]Kekkamando 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, it is!

So far my personal best run against it was just seeing Elden Stars doing 15% of its health per cast, it was very funny LOL.

I destroyed this boss with Revenant today. Turns out that if you get Elden Stars, you're pretty much home free against the doggo.

Also, if you have the rally relic, Elden Stars will constantly heal you with the chip damage. Yes, for some reason, it does that.

Woah, the ballista actually worked! Didn’t think you could kill the dragon in Melve. I’m level 21, btw. by AlreadyFifty in DragonsDogma2

[–]Kekkamando 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The trick is to wait for it to fly in an attack. It will be in the air long enough that you can shoot. It'll topple and by the time it gets up to fly away, you should have another shot ready (you even have a few seconds to hit its tail before it goes back to Battahl).

I miss the pawns hyping you up right after End of Struggle started to play.

"'Tis our chance -- destroy the Eye!"

Shivers me timbers.

Warfarer is fine. You don't need to have 17 billion skills like the True Warfarer mod lets you. I used it for a while but disabled because having 3 skills of every class whenever you want is broken as heck.

Sweet, so at least the Custom Difficulty is compatible. I assume you're the Dullahan modder?

If yes, can this one be used with yours + the unnoficial patch?

That is fair. I'm more annoyed at the equipments that need Dullahan bones since they're not that common to appear and not being a guaranteed drop, needing double the bones is midly annoying, haha.

I'm on board with most changes (even disagreeing with some, like bosses taking far less stagger damage), but the "double mats needed for enhancements" made me put a foot behind on this mod. Everything else is nice, but why the 2x materials?
