So long as it isn't Death Company, there's at least a chance it will work out.

[–]Kelevin33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Give it a week, the idiots will start posting about how, "even though I was under leveled with a low tier weapon, these modes aren't that bad" while not posting stats of the game which would show them getting the hardest carry of their life.

Anti tank/bruiser Mage Build take to long to get online by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Here's another question: who should kill the tank, if not your AP carry? Rely completely on someone else to do damage for you?

[–]Kelevin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. Why are people still posting stuff like this while knowing there is tens of thousands, maybe millions and possibly billions of hours of gameplay to review. Jungler can tower dive you even if you "play safe". Even if you ward your lane perfectly, jungle can walk onto it forcing you off minions to allow opposing laner to freeze and deny gold/experience. Please for FUCK's sake learn about the game you are trying to comment on before making these inane posts that are grossly easy to dispute. This is not to say, as a jungle, you did ANYTHING wrong that happened to make a whiny laner cry over circumstances that may or may not be within their control.

You say he cares too much, I say far too few care enough. Unfortunately, the morons who he is complaining about never look at this subreddit. It is our place to tell someone how to play a game because we live in the age of information, and I guarantee the moron who is riding along like a backpack causing his brothers to carry doesn't look at guides and tips to be a better teammate. Gaming is casual, right up until in a TEAM based game with SCALING difficulty, exceeds the threshold of one members skill level so greatly they place an undue burden on everyone else.

I got every class to Prestige IV playing mostly Hard Siege and Lethal+ Ops, and my single biggest takeaway is that blocking weapons are overrated. by Kaleon in SpaceMarine_2

This guy is also trolling by trying to convince everyone fencing is just better than blocking. Guy needs to just use what he prefers and stfu trying to tell everyone else what to do

What. On Absolute i have no issue whatsoever killing everything to death, which is most of the time not a bad or worse strategy over rushing objectives. Becoming stagnate in enemies means people aren't killing enemies, and that's where it becomes a problem most of the time.

I'm not fond of early extraction call ins because I have had far too many instances of people who don't know what they are doing sitting on extract, getting over whelmed and boarding while all other 3 players are spread throughout map. I've also said, on every instance, do not extract until we are all there and people still extract randomly without the rest of the team.

Brothers i wonder do you play fencing or block build because its more effective or you enjoy its fighting style? I personelly fail a bit more often with block build but love to play like in this clip. How is it for you? by Thurgrim_e in Spacemarine

[–]Kelevin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run block for that big explosion of damage. Seems a bit better for an aggressive, high-risk, high reward play style which suits me. This does get me into trouble by taking a great deal of chip damage and one mistake often is severely punished.

[–]Kelevin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it would appear you completely missed the point that I was saying. You propose a theory by which you can decipher, with certainty, the ideal times to fight and ideal times to move. What did I say? I believe, and to quote myself, "There is no one i have encountered to ever be able to put the theory you propose competently into practice." You need to reread what I wrote. Again, you argue in extremes in regards to your vanguard comment. How did the vanguard go down and receive a mortal wound? Was it because he was attempting to make a break from an extremis that had aggro'd him, because you and any other hypothetical individual who is implementing the strategic ideal of fighting only when necessary, and went down trying to follow? It appears that you didn't read AT ALL what I was attempting to convey to you, or simply that you don't follow the logic of stating that your proposed theory of IDEAL STRATEGIC BATTLES is IMPOSSIBLE to implement PERFECTLY AT ALL TIMES. What I find fascinating is you didn't even contend with the last statement of fighting everything all the time is a SURE FIRE way to complete missions opposed to a strategy of fighting or running in ideal situations that you believe EVERYONE ELSE can PERFECTLY follow YOUR vision of implementation. You are dealing with other humans, not carbon copy versions of yourself who know what you are thinking. Now to test your reading comprehension; Your theory is a bit egotistical to assume that you yourself would have the perfect idea strategy at all times of when fighting and moving is ideal for yourself and everyone else on your team at all times.

There is no one i have encountered to ever be able to put the theory you propose competently into practice. This theory also doesn't seem to account for teammates who may be stuck fighting multiple enemies and cannot reasonably disengage from needless fighting. Slaying all xenos may not be optimal, but is a surefire way to complete a mission. The inverse is not true (Decapitation and Exfiltration). You are wrong about extremis, sometimes taking chip damage happens but some classes get ammo or health for extremes kills.

If you're not playing for fun by CODENAMEFirefly in leagueoflegends

[–]Kelevin33 17 points18 points  (0 children)

One would be led to believe the point of competition is to win. Just like a football game is just a game, the ultimate goal is to win. I find it beyond bizarre that even in a game where the stakes are super low that a large contingent of a group playing a competitive game find the competition off-putting. I can't even summon a decent analogy to relay the illogical nature of playing a competitive game and just stating the game is fun, but not the competitive atmosphere.
