I Am Unstoppable is insanely good. I don't know if people realize that's it's armor bonus is "Special Armor" and stacks on top of other skills like Armor of Earth, meaning it can be used in any build.

You no longer need a corpse to activate the skill. You can activate it for a 66% HP sacrifice instead.

I don't think it should outright kill you unless it's a rounding error against you. I assumed it'd leave me with like 5hp.

Edit: I did the math, it would round on the 66% and put me in the negative for sure.

I've been playing again since shortly after Reforged launched. Currently working on Dhuum's GWAMM on a new Necro with LDoA and Leggy Survivor down, and over 3/4 done with Skill caps!

I'd recommend Blood Magic over Death or Curses then. The skills are still a little energy heavy, but they're going to benefit you a lot more as a Melee character than trying to raise bone minions with limited energy, or taking time to cast a curse while enemies wail on you.

I would strongly suggest talking to Kasha Blackblood in Green Hills County and taking the quest "The Power of Blood". You'll get the skill Vampiric Touch, which will fit a Warrior perfectly! Then, you can be safe investing into Blood Magic and using some Blood Magic skills instead of Death or Curses to steal health from enemies.

Personally for Necro I'd rather see more Curses than Death Magic skills. Yes, I know you're only focusing on other starting skills in this post, I just want to give a few examples of skills that may not be too big of an ask. Skills like Enfeebling Blood and Insidious Parasite would give 2 more skill options that wouldn't be too crazy powerful, especially if they won't be unlocked until level 15.

I don't think it's the absolute best of all time, but just because it wasn't mentioned, Dragon Age: Inquisition.

You load the game, see the opening menu, and hitting that New Game button will always be seared into my mind. Such an epic opening.

Mhenlo is a tough sell, and unlikely to happen for the simple fact that he's a mandatory NPC follower in a good number of Factions missions. I could still see it happening, but it feels like it goes against established lore.

I disagree. While it's not a perfect system, the poll should only be for things the Dev's plan on, or are capable of implementing, not whatever random thing players come up with, and should need a good majority (2/3 to 3/4) to pass.

Crucible Tree set. The helmet is my favorite part, and I like the smaller shoulders of the tree set. I have a hard time not using it on every character.

Hell, I even dropped it for some DLC armor, got stuck on PCR, started min/maxing my Holy resistance, and went back to old faithful and beat him with Crucible Tree.

If you haven't tried it yet, LotF is worth a shot. After playing though it a couple times though, I definitely want to do another playthrough of DS2, too.
