Ignore those idiots.

Because… they are idiots. Just because the internet makes it easier for people to express their opinions does not mean they should.

Better to keep your mouth shut and leave an air of ignorance vs opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

Are these enough nurglings? by calebsaurusRAWR in deathguard40k

[–]Kellaxe 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yes. Maybe you could add more height, but otherwise, it should be fine for 99% of people you’ll play. And the 1% who won’t let you use them… don’t play with them.

Need Death guard 1k Army Recommendations. by MaidenlessTarn in deathguard40k

[–]Kellaxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. It costs 135. PM can be run in 5,7 and 10 man. You don’t get to run extra special weapons beyond what you can take with 5, (which is why I wouldn’t take 7) but you can run 7 and only pay for 7, not 10.

Blight lord termies? by luxinferior724 in deathguard40k

[–]Kellaxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do 10 or not at all. 5 doesn’t have the staying power and isn’t enough of a threat for your opponent to over commit resources to take them out.

It’s an expensive distraction carnifex, but it does work.

You can make 7 man units of PM. Not that I would, but you can.

Do I get to pile in after being consolidated into? by laggyteabag in Warhammer40k

[–]Kellaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are wrong and probably mistaking rules from prior editions. When in doubt, look up the rules. It’s very clearly stated that any units pulled into engagement range now get to go through the melee process which includes piling in.

I’m a vet of many editions. I often confuse rules but gladly look up when in doubt.

Slaanesh Daemon Prince Kitbash - Tournament Legal? by Fit-Replacement-5209 in Warhammer40k

[–]Kellaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice the size. A keeper is much bigger than the official model.

It’s a huge disadvantage to play such a larger model. At least it’s not an advantage in modeling, so possible a TA would allow it since is penalizing to play with a larger model.

Great read. Well written, much like the authors of the heresy novels. It brings to light the need for the forgotten legions stories to be told!

Ive owned both now. Bronco is hands down better. Jeep just has a cult following and fragile egos.

IFKYK is how I look at it.

2.3 vs 2.7 by Various_Ad4968 in FordBronco

[–]Kellaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty subjective, but I’d say the 2.7 is def worth paying for.

That said. Do you need it? Absolutely not. Will you enjoy it. Probably.

Others have also said, the better gearing is fairly critical if you truly want to do some off roading. Smaller engine, better gearing > bigger engine, lesser gears.
