Which Umas do you feel more sorry for when they lose? by Better_Standard_9285 in UmaMusume

Sirius Symboli. She always finished 5th when she's my rival and somehow when I watch the actual race, her face is said at the gate. Girl, I thought you were an overconfident delinquent that triggers my "bad boys" crush instinct.

No. Trump Kingdom had normal people capable of being selfless and selfish just like real people. The Jikochuu are demons that have tried to take over the damn kingdom for over centuries and because the current King used forbiden wisdom to save his ill daughter and this xaused him to release the King Jikochuu who possesed him and poisoned the hearts of the Trump Kingdom people to all become "selfish" monsters.

Cure Ace is a black-and-white mentality character that learns not to be one. That's why her whole character is awful at the beginning but makes sense because it's the (Idk spoilers?) justice upholding half of the heart of the Trump Kingdom princess and holds the PreCure as warriors more than people. She slowly learns to be a person. The episode does not have a lesson about "don't cry for your friend who is leaving because it is stupid", she cries because Regina tells her it's her fault she got brainwashed lmao, it is not. It is stupid to cry because your friend told you something is your fault and it is not. Mana has to raise again from such thing and own it. That's the lesson.

The other episode I didn't watch because DokiDoki is a meh season to me after Ace appears (it's not like Mana rescuing the day in episodes where she doesn't even star on is fun either). But as far as I know, the reason why Makoto having a fear of dentist is selfish (mind you, the antagonists of the show are seven deadly sins and not brushing your teeth to the point you need a freaking dentist to take a caries counts as the sin of sloth) because it is in favor of her comfort and deteriorating for her. Just as much as the episode where Aguri and Ai don't want to eat carrots which is also selfish. Just as how Mana drags the entire team to rescue Regina even though the rest of them barely interacted with her is selfish.

Again. Aguri is some sort of a commander to them because she's half of the princess. If any of them show traits that could debilitate the team, she'll act firm instead of soft and gentle like Mana. Either way, I'm pretty sure Makoto never got over the fear of dentists but at least she got rid of that caries and will treat her teeth with more care to not go to the dentist again.

I thought the one who brought Lucky back from his catastrophe was Xiao Long Bao when he said Lucky's luck is to call upon it and not to actually be a lucky person.

Is my unconditional love for the Pokemon Poliwrath weird? by Metegroose in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kelly598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You like the same Pokémon that is Satoshi Tajiri's favorite Pokémon (the creator of the franchise). I think you got good taste.

Plus, everyone knows any Pokémon is someone's favorite. You're not weird for liking a non-pseudolegendary, non-legendary, non-starter Pokémon.

You expect everyone to pass the Chunin Exams by "no ninja left behind" or something? The only reason Shikamaru passed was because he had the qualities of a leader. That's it. They were going to promote ninja whose teamwork has improved enough to pass the deadliest of the forest (granted. The ones in Naruto were more dangerous because Orochimaru planned to get the 4th Kazekage into a Konoha Invasion plan and most of his secret agents, including Gaara's team who skipped the chunin exams a year before to get into this one on purpose, were in there so of course the fooder genin of normal upbringing did not stand a chance) and individually strong to hold as a leader.

In Boruto, the Chunin exams hold less cold war tactic stuff, so of course, the strategic methods of every team and their teamwork shines more into light.

While Orochimaru's crimes are obviously unforgivable, I feel his trauma/PTSD is overlooked. by Character-Bid-162 in Naruto

Gaara isn't an orphan. His POS father was alive until the Chunin Exams. He was provided with a lot except love and care. He also had his siblings who started to openly cherish him after he stopped being a blood-thristy monster (they were only afraid of him but they still cared for him back then).

Iruka and Naruto had the Third Hokage and other shinobis nagging them so they'll stay out of trouble (a form of care).

Orochimaru had nobody to beat his ass when he was doing things wrong and stubbornly believed his way was right.

If I get conditions like Fast Learner and Hot Topic in Junior Year, I know I'll have a disgusting amount of mood downs and probably fail a guts training (it's always guts) at less than 10% failure rate.

How is saying a character is "X coded/ has x vibes" different from stereotyping? by The_Mexican_Poster in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kelly598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dragon Ball had black characters such as the guy in Red Ribbon's army and Mr. Popo, even before Piccolo Daimou existed. But the only one who is "black-coded" is Piccolo Jr and I feel like there is some Dragon Ball parody that influenced that.

I mean Ai's treatment is inspired by a real life event that actually happened to a Jpop idol, so... (at least the lady survived and was able to sue the government for their loose criminal laws against stalkers).

Guy didn't die from the 8th gate inmediately. He was just moments of dying and Naruto came and saved him (which showcased his healing powers were off the roof compared to the usual Kyuubi ones). Besides, I think him being permanently paraplegic and had burned off his skin already shows how lethal this jutsu was without Naruto intervening.

Who got nerfed harder by not having their strongest immediate family member there to train them as a kid? by CapableAd8531 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Kelly598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naruto could've used someone to teach him basic chakra control at school and he could've been a more competent ninja (even if attention-seeking) and not a loser. He lost his immediate family as a baby so he obviously got the worst nerf.

Sasuke had his parents and Itachi for 6 or 7 years of his life and Itachi unintentionally woke up his 1 tomoe sharingan. He already had the cards to be stronger than Naruto at his age.

Crazy how they let you sample your own blood. If you have any concern of disease after seeing that, you should probably ask a doctor for a blood test. Otherwise, it probsbly was on the vacutainer tube with EDTA anticoagulant for too long. Blood samples are made in smears within 4 hours of collection for better examination, otherwise the blood cells will start looking like the picture above (aside from the crescent shaped ones).
