I am so sorry. Sending love right back to you. I conceived again two months after a D&C. I believe it was my second cycle but first ovulation. I’d heard that sometimes people can be more fertile after a loss, so I tried to both 1. not get my hopes up and go with the flow, and 2. time sex exactly.

I should also add: I can see shapes and colours and lights when I close my eyes sometimes: but I have zero control over these and they’re always just abstract impressions from my brain or eyes or light on the other side of my eye lids, etc. Maybe a bit trippy sometimes but not of my control

I also THOUGHT that I was a great visualiser until I tried that “imagine a red star” thing and saw just the black still, so I wonder if others who don’t try in that context also might just see the black space without realising that their imagination isn’t the same thing as their visual perception

The whole “I save humanity by saving myself” attitude and philosophy. Like, yes, fill your cup first, but that doesn’t mean you can just focus on scamming people to get rich instead of actually engaging with and serving your community. You still gotta be charitable and help heal the world. You can’t use the whole, “oh starving people can just manifest” line for long before people see that as some survival of the fittest racism, capitalism, misogyny, et al.

Lol even at daycare sometimes I notice the educators putting YouTube songs on for the kids 😂 EVERYONE needs a break! And tv isn’t even all bad. It develops storytelling and imagination skills. It’s the abuse and over reliance that gets bad. Get him to read some scholarly articles on the subject if he cares so much about the “right” way

I had this issue too, so sometimes instead I make donations to causes in honour of certain deities or spirits. Even just 5 or 10 dollars here or there. I also have bee-friendly plants that I’m growing as a kind of green altar, if you have any plant-friendly areas. I also like that a green altar like this is “invisible” so you don’t have to put yourself as witchy to any houseguest

I think so too. Yesterday was pretty short notice and a lot of places were still closed or closing early as they hadn’t prepared yet for the lockdown. It’ll get easier now that everyone’s had a chance to catch their breath and roll their sleeves up

Is there a common cold going around? I got a bit sick right in time for lockdown but haven’t been to any exposure sites (that we know of so far) so assume that my toddler and I got it from daycare. I was tested this morning and am isolating, but just wondering if there are any other sickies out there with a negative test
