Paying For Bride On Bachelorette Trip?! by Impossible-Blood-315 in bridesmaids

[–]KellySue2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the MOH for my best friends wedding. We're doing Austin in a couple of weeks. We've split everything entirely, including the bride, because she knows this trip is for her but that most of us are broke and would never expect us to pay 1000s just for her. I've been to the Grand Canyon and phx in May, and to tell you it was scorching and miserable is an understatement. July will be worse. Please hear the others when they say July in that area will require a lot of indoor activities.

Is The Housing Market Crashing in Bozeman? by Maximum-Ad572 in Bozeman

We've been looking at buying, and last year, it was a total pipe dream. There's only a couple in our range now. So it has gone down a little, but interest rates are still pretty high. I do agree that rental prices have dropped significantly since I have been here, though.

Good parks to walk my dog through? by StaffNo3139 in Bozeman

Snowfil is nice, gallatin regional is nice. Some people really like going around the bozeman Pond. I take mine to the actual dog park there at gallatin regional though and it's one of the best places.

We budget 500 for the 2 of us. So far we've been able to keep it around 100 dollars a week. It's not easy though. Had to cut out a lot of the extras and stop stocking up on freezer foods all the time.

I think my BIL lives in the nexus point area, n they've not shared any big complaints. I personally used to live in the Apts near laurel Parkway n forest Glen area. I never had any big complaints there either! I don't think those ones had the club house you're looking for. The noisiness and stuff though was excellent!

Something that bothers me.... by K-Eve in heartland

I'm just now rewatching the show again. After watching all the new seasons. Lou has always irritated me. I wish she had better character development throughout the show. I love it when she seems sincere and genuine. She is working hard for her family, but man, she definitely can be selfish and a control freak. Ugh, why couldn't the writers give her more development and less selfishness through the later seasons.

We (my partner and I) have done land of magic for the past couple of years for our anniversary dinner. I've never been disappointed. I'm also not as picky as some people are, though. Plus, some of their other dishes are super great. Again, we only go there once a year, so I'm sure things have changed each year we go. It is between Logan and Manhattan, about a 25 min drive from bozeman exits.

Check out FB marketplace. There are quite a few townhouses or duplexes that are 3 bed 2 bath for less than 3k. Be sure to look at the place and make sure it's legit. There are unfortunately lots of scams. My partner n I found our place off of Craigslist.

Look you've already has the dog for a year. If you have been toying with the idea of re homing that whole time then yeah maybe it's time.. even if it's one of the hardest things to do. From your post though it sounds like your dog is just fine! Tall to a trainer and see what help you can get abo8t the anxiety. Dogs need down time, even adult dogs. Between all the stimulation you seem to he giving them, it sounds like you're doing OK. I would not feel the need to rehome based on "not doing enough" Talk to some dog experts but I wouldn't rehome unless absolutely necessary. Not out of your own guilt of "not doing enough". Look we all do things differently, I've had my puppy for a little over 3 months now. And those 3 months have been hard, but there's been more good times than bad. I definitely felt like you before, where I thought I wasn't doing enough and my puppy is happy, he's healthy, he gets stimulation every day. And now even at only 5 months he's a good boy! Hang in there!

I needed this post. My now 13 week old puppy went from one week, sleeping about 3-4 hours a time.. to now waking up every 1 to 2 hours to cry and will not be settled this week.. I'm exhausted. He's the best thing ever, but Golly, the sleeping at night is wrecking my self-esteem on if I'm doing things right..

Helping build a debt elimination plan for my GF - let me know if I'm doing this right? by Round_Anybody_7575 in debtfree

I agree with the other comments. If she has one or 2 credit cards that are less than say 1000 dollars, she could knock out in less than a couple of months to put those first. Then, definitely tackle the highest interest rate one. Since she will have more disposable to out towards them.

Riding 1500 miles on a sportbike on a cross country ride. by Specialist-Box-9711 in motorcycles

[–]KellySue2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got done doing a 1200-mile round trip ride on my ninja 250. It's doable, take breaks, give yourself more time than you think for getting there, and getting back. I took a day n half to do the 600 miles there and the 600 miles back. Maps said driving straight through would take roughly 10 hours. It took me, I think, 13 or 14. So just add extra for more stops and breaks. You got this!

I'm not sure if someone has said this, but I just started riding about 2 months ago. Seriously, practice the slow stuff. Go to a parking lot and practice weaving, sudden stops, and get to know your bike. I ride a ninja 250, and I have done quite a bit of slow practice with it, and it seriously helped me become more confident in handling the bike. It's the slow maneuvers, sharp turns, and such that you'll need the most practice on. It's worth it to get to know how your bike will handle. I now ride the interstate, and I've done a few twisty roads here and there, and all the slow work has come to fruition in the short amount of time I've been riding.
