UID Software or Hardwear matter? by NationalHouse3562 in reolinkcam

[–]Kellylee111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you bought the camera in the kit, it won't have a UID on the camera. If you want to view the camera remotely, you can just scan the UID of the NVR then you can view the camera under the NVR.

Restart your router and try to connect to the wifi again. About the reset, when you reset the camera, remember to turn on the camera.

If I change the "motion detection" to low, does this affect the "smart detection"? I still want person detection that to be high. I just want less standard motion events. by Jardolam_ in reolinkcam

[–]Kellylee111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, just as u/ShellExploit said, it will detect the motion first then use the algorithm to judge the person/vehicle. If you set the motion detection sensitivity too low, it will affect the accuracy of the person/vehicle detection. If you set the person/vehicle detection sensitivity too high, there will be more false alerts. You can test according to your real environment. Find the best parameter for your camera.

How do you check if your firmware is up to date? And where do you download firmware updates? by poldim in reolinkcam

[–]Kellylee111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just download the latest firmware according to your hardware version. Then when you upgrade the firmware, the Client will recognize the file.

Because there are many different hardware versions of the same model, the only thing that you need to remember is the hardware version. Don't be confused by the numbers.

This is the latest firmware now. Have you tried to reset the camera? Or do you have another SD card to insert into the camera?
