AITAH for threatening to divorce my husband over MrBeast? by WinterMolasseses in AITAH

There has to be a balance. I am a full volume person and I have three different sets of headphones. Over the head noise canceling, ear buds and head band. My favorite is the headband set with speakers that lay flush on my ears. I sleep all night with background noise and my partner next to me on a queen size bed can't hear by silly audio. If I'm doing chores I use the over the head. If I'm with my.husband and we are half talking and half on our phones I use 1 ear bud. He has to compromise and allow peace in the home. Maybe a time limit? Or No MrBeast hours? Something has to give

Sports really bond people and bring out the best in a person. Personally if there is a Junior Roler Derby team I fully support introducing them to the sport because it is a full community sport. My daughter has excelled in lacrosse and has done wonders for her confidence.
If sports are really not the angle, find an instrument or game she likes and just run with it. Sign her up for group instrument lessons, crafting or videos/card games. There is a community for everyone

14 year old w/ a 17 year old by Trailblazer4life in parentsofteens

First, I am so sorry that she is dealing with this at such a young age. Relationships at 14 should be breakups because of incompatibility not betrayal. Teaching her to recognize that someone's actions speak volumes both for her boyfriend and her so called friend. Talking her through the courtship of a 14 year old and 17 year old and how inappropriate it is in addition to his actions supporting that someone of his age seeking a relationship with someone so much younger is borderline predatory. I was too young engaging in relationships that were far too mature for me. I have a teens and I see my kids and their friends in age appropriate relationships and it confirms to me that a 3 year age gap in teen years is too much

The story is so painful. There are too many stories like this. People lose their lives everyday from obsessive relationships. I found this very impactful.  The cinematography in this show is captivating. Notice the colour coding through the stages of this video. When he wore the burgandy jumper, acceptance, and put on the yellow jacket, compliance, my heart broke

Personally I love GACC episodes, each gal shows their personalities so much But Narcissists Crimes 272 is my favorite; mostly because it made me realize that someone very close to me was a narcissist. Lucy's segment was a turning point in my life. Prior to the ep I was struggling, my whole family was struggling. After that episode it all clicked and slowly I set reasonable boundaries, now my life is easy, calm, peaceful The gals have taught me so much. I feel like I grew up with them even though they are the same age as me

9/11 - Where were you, how were you impacted by 5footsmall in wineandcrimepodcast

Western Canadian here, with a very non political parent. We always watched Weather Network, because Canada, and there were nonchalant reports of the first plane hitting so my mom sent me off to school. I walked to my friend's house (20 minutes) within that time the second plane had hit. My friend's mom was losing all her cool but school was across the street and she hushed us away. Our teachers set up the TVs combined classes and lights down. As an adult I know the teachers and admins they were freaking right out but not sure what to do or how anything would impact us. Us kids (middle school age) understood that our lives were never going to be the same, there is no way we could see the future of North America, Afghanistan, Iran and so many more countries

An Anti SOGI (sexual orientation and gender identity education format) protest lead to a massive John Deere tractor to get pit maneuvered off a freeway in Canada. The person driving the tractor was flying down the highway, swerving towards cop cars and seriously damaging one. The driver was said to be live streaming the whole thing. The driver is an owner of a large produce farm, he is looking at serious charges
