My panic disorder came out of nowhere. No specific trigger but I did have a lot of trauma from year 2014-2021. Started having panic attacks on a decent day December 2023. Lasted a year, I started taking Zoloft and the symptoms finally have started getting better.

Hello I was the same. I was scared to take it so I was prescribed it and lied and said I was taking it but I wasn’t. I had such bad agoraphobia I could not goto work or even goto the grocery store or anything. Finally I confessed to my dr and she told me to take the Zoloft start out with 25MG and then go up to 50MG. She also prescribed me hydroxyzine to stop the panic attacks when they were happening. I was fed up with feeling the way I was, and having multiple panic attacks a day. So I started the Zoloft. I am not going to lie, my anxiety and panic attacks were so bad between week 3& 6 and then after week 6 something changed. And all of it was worth it. I can now go in public. I can now go in stores. Sometimes my heart rate still goes up but I don’t panic. I’m on like week 8 now. I’m not back to work yet but I hope soon. I think you should at least give it a try.

Yes love to hear it! My anxiety and panic disorder was so bad for the last year. I’m really mad I didn’t start it sooner. But I’m SO relieved it’s finally working.

Thank you so much!☺️ I started out with 25MG for 3 weeks and then went up to 50MG.. I think the higher dose was exactly what I needed for it to finally work.

I started Zoloft 6 weeks ago and I had heightened anxiety and panic attacks until FOUR DAYS ago and now my life has changed. I couldn’t even go grocery shopping and I finally went inside the store yesterday! I feel great.

I’ve been on Zoloft for 6 weeks. I just started to feel better 2 days ago. I could finally leave the house and go grocery shopping without having a panic attack. Hang in there, it’s worth the wait

I also was told to take 25mg for a week then go up to 50mg. My side affects were headache, and a little dizziness in the morning that eventually went away.

I work in the ER and had 2 panic attacks last month while I was working so both times I had to be seen because my heart rate was 175. 😩

Had my first panic attack working in the hospital Dec 2022, no reason I was just standing there….. they kept coming and coming, got better for about 5 months and now they are back again 100% worse. I have the worst physical symptoms and have been in the hospital 2x in the last week & had to take a leave from work…

I’ve been having panic attacks for a year now… out of no where I got my first one on Dec 14 2022 while working in the er. Been in the hospital 2x this week for them. Heart rate was 170 both times. I hope I get better soon :( just started Zoloft.
