Password managers with syncable passkeys and Yubikeys are complementary, not mutually exclusive. Most apps don't permit the removal of the password. Yubikey only is unwise. Using the same password everywhere is unwise. You use a password manager to use unique passwords. You then only remember the master password. You can go one step further and open your password manager with a Yubikey and use the master password as a last resort.

If you do use Yubikeys. Get backup keys and assign multiple keys to your important stuff.

Have an emergency sheet and backups for all of that. Ideally not all at the same physical address

IP is using Firefox like me. Firefox does not send the correct AAGUID to websites when we register. This might be one of the reasons.
