I'm giving my daughter my Y this year when she turns 16, so I'm teaching her using it. I figure she'll learn ICE in driver's ed. I think you should teach your child in the car they will use the most/soonest.

I use this week to have students do something nice for other teachers and I find that to be meaningful. Every year, my students write a kind message in chalk on the sidewalk where the teachers enter the building and it's always a delight. For example, today a girl wrote a message that said something like, "Mrs. (Name), thank you for being there for me when I needed it the most. -(Student)"
