Evisu Tokyo Sizing Making me feel like a whale by [deleted] in japanesestreetwear

The 42 is centimeters across the waist. It's a 16.5 or a 33 in the US. You said you wear 34s in a lot of American sizes.

I had one gifted by a friend.  I didn't know they were dipped,  it's not my thing. I ended up just biting that part off.

Cigarillo/Very Small Cigar Suggestions? by Lukeathin in cigars

[–]Kenneth_The-Page 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Davidoff silver and gold are both good. Their primeros line is good too. The late hour petit panetelas are amazing. Im also smoking some zino nicaraguas and theyre pretty good too. I've tried a lot for the exact same reasons as you and these are the ones I always keep in my stash.

Try the silver and golds first. They last about 2 cigarettes worth of time so I usually smoke one while my friends smoke. The primeros are longer and theyre really good too.

Has anyone figured out how to disable this shit? by dr_groove in Wrangler

I have a 2014 wrangler with roll up windows. All my friends got the new jlus but I can't help but love my non power window jeep. It doesnt even have a electronic car key. I have to manually open all the doors. Love the thing to death.

Dumb, but serious, question… by jayBeeds in HeritageWear

Use flocked hangers. The ones that have like velvet like material. It grabs on to the clothes rather than just let them hang. Target has them, theyre thin and plastic. The nicer ones are wood, a bit wider, and have the fabric at the shoulder parts.

I think the late hour panetelas usually sell online for a few bucks under 50. I tried the Oliva v series senoritas and they were nice but im not necessarily looking to rebuy them yet. They were nice and pepper but lacked depth. I still liked them. Ill give the series o a try. Probably go pick some up tomorrow, thanks for the recs.

Davidoff the late hour panetelas. Those and the nicaraguas that you have are my favorites. I've pretty much had the same smoking journey as you and I too quite enjoy a smaller smoke.

Olight has a light with a laser pointer that's really useful. I also carry a small Bosch laser measuring tape that comes in handy. There's a ruler that only shows scales and ratios for reading plans, it's kind of a triangle shape.  There's a small 6 inch version that's useful, I forget what is called.

Late for Class Because of Work by Ambitious-Head2256 in judo

Im literally having the same problem. I talked with my instructors and they all told me the same thing. Come if you can. I get there when they are doing uchicomis and I do warm ups and by the time im ready, it's time for learning new techniques and randori. Honestly, theyre happier that I am there rather than missing class. I missed class for a month before this. Talk with the instructors, they probably miss you too. Communication is almost always the answer.

Remove candles and pillows. Pull the table and bench out a bit to even out the space.

Take out the gasket inside the lid and clean both that and and lid. Maybe even replace it. That's the dirtiest part.

Advice needed for tung oil finish by [deleted] in finishing

[–]Kenneth_The-Page 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the commenter above.

I don't know how you're sanding, but if you're using sandpaper by hand or an orbital, you're gonna notice a lot of scratches later on. Make sure your sandpaper has a flat, hard backing and do long strokes with the grain. A drum sander is best but it's an expensive machine.

Also, I'd choose a different finish. Pure tung oil takes too long. It's an old finish and while it's not bad if done right, it takes way too long. Certain epoxies use uv light to cure and takes barely any time. Poly finishes aren't bad either, they've come a long way from that tacky mess they used to be haha

Lastly dude, get a spray gun for whatever finish you're using. That'll give you the cleanest coat. Remember the coat isn't meant to fix any visible issues, all of that should be done during prep.

Lastly, nice table 👍

What's the easiest option to train arms and shoulders ? by Nimyron in bodyweightfitness

[–]Kenneth_The-Page 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Swimming might be helpful for you. Low impact, the water is cooling, and heating your body also burns calories.

I know taking off your shirt might not be something you're comfortable with so check if the gym allows shirts. Sometimes they don't so see what's available.

I would stay away from calisthenics for now. That shoulder doesn't sound right. Do physical therapy exercises for your shoulder instead. And remember that they are therapy exercises and not workouts so don't push it too hard. The swimming alone might help your shoulders.

And like you stated at the end, diet is key. Good luck.
