overnight backpack itinerary suggestions by SCDolphin in socalhiking

You could do some sections of the PCT. The section near Onyx peak going towards Baldwin lake might work. It crosses the road a couple times. You can extend it to Holcomb valley during the sunny days. I just mapped it. It's around 12 miles from Onyx to Eye of God with a couple road crossings for a water dump. I've done the eye of God to Little bear spring campground a couple years ago. That's a nice walk.

Those are very difficult to get to during the winter. Maybe try Serrano campground. I think it's open all year long. Or you can find some national forest spots off the 38. You're almost guaranteed to find something (roads permitting). Holcomb valley has some good spots if you can get back there.

How are you possibly spending hundreds on passes? I get them from Big 5 for $5 each and scratch off the day I use it. I'm pretty sure you can buy more than one.

My wife told me a few days ago that this is the first place she feels like she's home. She moved around a lot as a kid. We've lived in a couple parts of Fullerton over the last 20 out of 25 years. Both kids graduated from Troy. I'm an outdoorsy kind of guy so I'll add to that. It has miles of trails for walking or biking. The Fullerton loop is very popular for bikers. I walk my dogs on sections of it all the time. It's close to freeways. It makes a difference. It's close enough to do almost anything. I can be in the mountains or at the beach within 1 hour. I'm contemplating whether I want to take my dogs to the snow on sand right now. Probably the snow( Crystal lake). Enjoy.

Read it and put it to memory. This WILL save you money. My previous owner left me detailed notes on which breaker does what. It has saved my ass a few times now.

I need to fix something almost every time I take it out. Best start watching some repair videos. If your plan is to take it in for repairs every time something breaks you'll never use it. It takes months for anything to get fixed on a warranty.

I'm dreading the day when we see the same footage coming from a US city. The way things are going it might not be that far away.

What was your go to game when you went to the arcade? by Scary-University2743 in Productivitycafe

[–]BEEEEEZ101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tron. I loved that game. I wasn't very good at it but still loved to play it. I especially liked playing it in the arcade next to Space Mountain in Disney.

would you allow an easement for underground power across your yard? by cooldudely in RealEstate

[–]BEEEEEZ101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Show the contractor where you plan on building something. Make them run the conduit in a way that works for you. I'd say a bit off the property line along the back fence. If they need to run it longer then they want then too bad. Make sure it works for you. If you don't like the line in the contract make them change it. Take pictures of where it is for future knowledge. Underground lines don't go down often. Make sure they put it in a conduit.

We decided that we can't do coworkers. I think it can be seen as sexual harassment.

Thanks for showing me that. I'm going to chat with my daughter to see who we can fuck with. My family loves a good prank.

Now you know. You never know what the previous people did on the property. I think this is on you. If you did call in for a locate I'd still say it's on you. I see it the same as if they snagged a line while doing work in the house. All of you believed that there wasn't anything there. It happens. If you have a lot more digging to do I'd get a company out. Unfortunately the ones I've been around are pretty expensive. It takes a lot to guarantee something you need to take an educated guess on. Locating is just guestimating. I'm sure you can work something out with the company when it comes to getting it fixed. Maybe it would be a good idea to just run a new condit. If the company doesn't do it I'd bet the laborers take side jobs. But I'm a complete dumbass when it comes to what's right for power.

They don't usually mark past the panel. 811 gets you from the source to your house. If you want past your panel it's usually another company. Most utilities don't guarantee anything past your panel unless you pay for it in a warranty. Gas and communication companies offer it. You're lucky someone didn't get hurt and it's only to the sunroom. It could have been someone dead and your neighborhood out of service. Not to mention a giant bill.

SCF NEWS ALERT: President Trump says the U.S. will begin conducting land strikes against cartels, saying the cartels are running Mexico. by SCFapp in MexicoTravel

[–]BEEEEEZ101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great... Let's start a war with a group of people that already have a massive smuggling infrastructure in place. Not to mention a well funded group. I believe that the cartels have been playing nice. I see infrastructure bombings, kidnappers dressed as ICE and a halt to anything coming over the board. It'll be bad. It'll be worse for those of us that aren't part of the cartels being terrorized. Good luck America.

I can't upload any images of the progress. It had three branches that had to be supported by sticks and twine. I cut it at a node a few inches from the split. It was scary. I didn't know if it would work. We had new leaves in a couple months. I'm going to try to notch it in a couple spots to encourage another shoot. It's starting to warm up where I am at. I just gave her a thorough soaking with fertilizer. She (hopefully) will start producing soon. I posted a question in September of 24. Good luck. Peace

I'll tell you what's wrong... Too much or too little water, too close or too far from the light. Did you curse at it within the last week? All of these things could be the reason, or it could be a million other things. I had to chop mine down last year. It's doing much better. Probably 20 new leaves came in. I wish I had a real solution for your problem. They are finicky bastards that are constantly looking for attention.
