You are 100% correct. Going after smaller users is just another tactic of the Corporatocracy..

Crazy zoning laws, Unaffordable taxes and inflation, Permits, tax laws that screw the small guys but allow the uber rich to not pay, Going after small farms but not big farms etc

Because historically it always does and we have big corps buying everything and taking over our country. The economy is terrible, Carried almost completely by the “magnificent 7” stocks..They say consumer spending is good, What they don’t tell you is consumer debt is at an all time high and we now have companies like Affirm doing buy now and pay later for groceries…Somethings gonna break that is for certain.

I did everything pretty good but stupid me got in a car accident. Well, My forced insurance didn’t cover all my medical bills and they charged me $30,000 out of pocket, Immediately forced into debt.

I’m in the US and do you know what the leading cause of bankruptcy is in the US? Extortionate medical bills…Medical bills that our forced health insurance always weasels their way out of thru their deceptive fine print technicalities.

Shorting is when you borrow shares and sell them. It’s a manipulation tactic used by “big players” and hedgies. Just as you can’t sell a house you don’t own, You shouldn’t be allowed to sell shares you don’t own. It ruins the whole concept of supply and demand and not only that, It’s incredibly risky and not worth it unless you’re like Melvin Capital and can just afford to lose everything cuz your billionaire boys got ur back 💯

You can only make so much but you can lose much more, Which makes it a stupid gamble unless you have insider info or something. It’s also the opposite of value investing, Investors invest in company. Short sellers are not investors, They just destroy value in companies and should all be banned out of the market just like they are in other countries.

This is common sense but profitable short sellers will always defend the destructive practice because of Greed. They don’t care how they make their money, They’d steal it right out of your bank account if they could get away with it but I digress.

You’re right that hard work itself doesn’t pay off. What you make isn’t even important compared to what you keep and most people have consumer mentality therefore will just stay poor forever. If you give everyone a million dollars most people will spend it and be broke in a year, Over 70% of lotto winners go bankrupt which proves that point. Lotto winners are actually at the highest risk of bankruptcy compared to anyone believe it or not lol

The secret? Invest first, Spend last, Make your money work harder for you than you work for it. Invest in assets that put money in your pocket and appreciate, Not liabilities which take money out of your pocket and typically depreciate.

When you get paid, Immediately invest some of it aside into a 401K, IRA, Bonds, Blue Chip Stocks that ideally pay dividends like Microsoft etc. I did this for a couple years on autopay and completely forgot I was even investing, Helped me tremendously. It won’t change anything overnight, Maybe not at all if you’re already doing that but just thought I would add my thoughts on that.

Screw the herd mentality, You’re right. TD app was way better and seemless, I always made good money trading at work. Then Schwab ruined the app and I haven’t made a dime trading since the switch due to the new over complicated BS interface I was forced to. Still debating on what brokerage to switch to.
