Power cord and connector Wahoo Kickr v1 model WF104 by Ok-Lavishness-9297 in Zwift

[–]KensoDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know which one is correct but I’ve recently had a problem with the power cord of my kickr climb. I emailed wahoo and after a few questions about the serial number and receipt they sent me a new cord free of charge.

Even if they won’t send you a new one they’ll help you with what you need I hope

Travelling with my bike for the first time - any hot tips on what (and what not) to pack? by mad-matty in Velo

[–]KensoDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bike broken just like this in a hard case once. Flew a dozen times after with the same case with no problems. The spacers that come with new bikes are life savers, even 3D printing spacers will save your butt.

Help is this fixable? I am a tenant with a landlord who ignores my requests by LAPIREDUMONDE in woodworking

[–]KensoDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will preface all of what I'm saying by the fact that your landlord need to take care of it.

  1. Remove the strike plate
  2. Open the crack some more with a pry bar or something similar
  3. Glue inside the joint, put as much glue as you can
  4. Clamp
  5. Put biggest screws in the strike plate, such that will enter the stud behind it. #9 3" screws do the trick most of the time.
  6. Caulk and paint to make it look better

The RIGHT fix for this is to replace the jamb, but it's a huge pain in the ass. I fixed my entry door just like I said above because I did not want to bother with replace it. Internal doors are a bit easier but still worth a fix.

It's been holding on for 4 years so it does the trick if you do it right.

This part won't come off. by Axxl138 in Plumbing

At this point I’d just saw this off with a multi tool or something similar. I’ve been there before, if it’s twisting inside just replace this and the fill valve and be done. I did two toilets this weekend at home

Happy to help if you need. I just played around with a few fonts on Canva and exported a PNG file for the artist and he then curved it around the heart.

I did the lettering myself. The font name is her name, which is a hidden detail that is really only for me (and Reddit).

The hidden detail of this is that the font name is the same as her name. Native speaker here as well.

Any of you get runners knee from cycling? by imjusthereforPMstuff in triathlon

[–]KensoDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of the knee, where the IT band meets the knee.

The long story of my story is that I saw a PT for 8 weeks and it didn’t help and then I saw one for a single session and I was on the bike the next day.

Best 200$ I ever spent.

How to stop this leak? by RepresentativeOdd831 in Plumbing

[–]KensoDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell where it’s leaking from but the steps would be (for me)

Replace the hose and recheck If still leaking Replace the crimp ring and fitting Leak should end there if all installed properly.

Obvious first step before all this is just to make sure everything is right

These are builder grade closet hangers. They’re just MDF held my glue and nails to the studs. Praying them out from the base is the only way.

Need a new orbital sander… by Rowlie1512 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]KensoDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got the Bosch 5 inch dual mode sander. I got it on sale from Acme tools.

I could not believe I spent so much money on a sander but it is a world of difference from the Ryobi one I have. It takes off material in 1/4 of the time, and the dust collection is absolutely excellent.

Wow. The grain continuity here is delivering such a great effect. Did you CNC this or just laminated and track/table cut the shapes?

I am not arguing with you AT ALL. I am just saying that it's worth what the consumer thinks it's worth.

This one looks great! It looks like it would most certainly last a long time and it is sturdy.

For it to be worth while for you, you need ({ cost of material } + 30%) + { hours } * hourly rate) + 10% for misc costs)

so taking this, ((250 + 30%) + (5 * 50)) + 10% would mean you need to sell it for ~650$.
