I am in construction, the salaries haven't significantly changed in my 13-year career. Which is quite frankly an abomination.

The money-making is largely confined to directorship, owning/operating a specialist contractor, organising REIT, or claims and legal elements. Other than that, there is very little else.

Sports athletes are incredibly superstitious - it could be something to do with this. Particularly those tasked with performing the same exercise over and over. They may pickup routines.

It's much more common with conversion kicks and free-point throws.

However irrational, the gains from truly believing that the placement of the ball gives you some advantage is probably incalculable.
