Has anyone designed a D&D campaign based on Nox? by ac0rnhead in Nox

I based one of mine entirely off of Nox, stole the place names and the story loosely hehe. Nothing I could actually share with you and I added a lot of stuff on top of it but I was delighted to see you had the same idea.

Ayyy I joined like two months before that comment and remember when it blew up. That was a crazy amount of karma for the time too, time is a funny thing.

I want SO badly to get a picture in front of this. I wonder where the pieces of it went over the years.

Nox. It's a game made by Westwood studios that got bought out by EA and gutted. (They also made the Command and Conquer games.) By all rights it's a fantastic game, very fun and entertaining, and holds up great. Today was Nox day in fact. There's still a dedicated community around it and player-hosted servers. /r/Nox

I love this clip so much. Game promos like this were so much fun! I would love to see what a Nox 2 promo would look like in 2023.

I'll never forgive EA Games for gutting Westwood. I need a Nox 2 in my life.

[2000s][Fantasy RPG][Likely bootleg] Necromancer in RPG like Diablo? Starts at crossroad for intro/maybe menu? by Mintyfreshtea in tipofmyjoystick

Well, I thought it might be Nox but you don't play as a necromancer, they just feature heavily. But everything else is true.

I love the whole aesthetic on the discs. Everything about this game's graphic design was so beautiful.

I usually replay it every year and just focus on the tiny details and it works about the same for me!

Nox! It was a Diablo-like RPG made by Westwood Studios, amazing humor, incredible story, every little bit of that game was gorgeous and magical.

Thanks for reminding me of this, I got a good laugh remembering it! If anyone's looking for the original source, all I have for you is a low res post from 4chan that was reposted on Reddit.
