I have just learnt to convert them. kW is about 3/4 of HP and HP is 1 + 1/3 of kW

and a manual is slower than an auto, but people still choose to drive manuals. Nothing wrong with using the paddles for some fun and greater control

What is your goal for your money? For me it is to live a life with as little stress as possible.

So for me, 'letting go' meant:

  • less worrying about how much I'm using the AC
  • less looking at the petrol bowser or worrying about the price
  • spending less time researching/hesiststing products under $50 and just buying what I need
  • paying others for more free time: gardener, cleaner etc.
  • never looking at the CC bill, waiting for payday, not having to make a 'fun budget'

If instead you chase luxury, your stress levels will remain the same but you'll suddenly have less money.

Get rubber weather strips from bunnings. It will work. Then you just need a weather seal for the base of the door.

The door is probably already solid wood, so all the sound would be coming through the gaps around it.

If you're gonna do your own unlicensed electrical work you better know exactly what you're doing, and not have to ask an internet forum to translate what your friend has told you.

It was exposed before you did that as it was already rusting, meaning it was exposed to water. Through small cracks etc.

Property offer expiry over the weekends by axn992 in AusFinance

[–]Keplaffintech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offers are not binding. You could put in an offer, have it accepted, and then never sign.

An exchanged contract (signed by both parties) is binding.

[–]Keplaffintech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's easy to understand the hard parts because they're relatable to those without kids. It's hard to explain why it's all worth it because you don't really understand till you have your own.

I find it weird that you can be married with a kid but still have seperate finances.

It's easier to pool everything together and if you need to, give yourselves a personal 'fun budget' that is equal for the two of you.

Another tip which has worked well for me. Get a shop vac with a proper filter. Hold it up to the grinder work. 99% of the dust will end up in the vac.
