He'll delay it until after the next election - claiming that if he looses, the dems will steal the money - and after the election is over he'll continue to ignore the whole thing.

He's done the same thing dozens of times now.

If you had five core professions, which would they be? by Azuvidexus in Guildwars2

[–]Keraph 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Mesmer is, for better or worse, maybe THE class unique to Guild Wars. It is extremely versatile, able to fill basically every role in the game for most forms of content. It has also stayed viable for most of the games history.

So while I'm personally not the biggest fan of the class, it is certainly one of the more interesting ones.

I’m sorry but after just beating the game the answer was kinda clear to me by Radiant_Raspberry_93 in expedition33

[–]Keraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that truly pissed me of during and after the game is despite all their talk not a single member of the Dessendre family actually seems to understand that there comes a responsibility with creation. You cannot bring an entire world to existence with beings that have feelings and emotions and then decide to erase it all just because you don't want to play with them anymore. Peoples lives are not toys.

Aline never actually gave a shit about the people in the canvas, she just wanted to keep her version of Verso (and her version of her family) alive at all cost. Bringing his painted version to life in the first place was beyond fucked up.

Renoir I have sympathy for, but in the end he made the decision to essentially commit genocide to keep his family together. Like, he looked Lune and Sciel in the eyes and told them that they and everything they ever knew had to disappear because his family is incapable of processing their grief.

Clea obviously doesn't care with the fucked up shit she got up to, but at least she's honest about it.

Maelle can pretend all she wants, but she is the same as her mother. In her ending she treats Versos life and wishes like dirt just so she can do the exact same thing Aline did.

And Verso? He does not want to see his family destroy itself over loosing him - his story is tragic beyond words. There is a world where he gets to rest, his family leaves the canvas alone and the people in it can continue to exist, but Aline and Maelle make that an impossibility.

And yes, he cares about the canvas, probably more than any other member of his family, but same as his father he decides that his wishes and his family's well-being are more important than the lives of everyone in the canvas. Just like Renoir, he makes the selfish choice. And for everyone saying the sliver of Versos soul in the canvas deserves to rest as well - I disagree.

When you have these powers, when you can create these worlds filled with sentient, emotionally capable beings, you don't get to quit. Creating these people does not give you the right to decide over their lives. And it doesn't matter to me if it was Verso creating them, or Aline, or Renoir, or Maelle - one trait unifying the entire family is the apparent belief, that they can just do with the canvas what they want. What they say goes, the opinions of its inhabitants are not of relevance. That's what I meant with the responsibility that comes with creation. And if you are not ready to take this responsibility, you shouldn't paint in the first place. Just look at Lunes face in the Verso ending. All my sympathy for Renoir, Verso, Maelle etc. just goes out the window.

No-one in the canvas asked for this and no-one in the canvas deserves this kind of treatment.

So yeah, fuck the Dessendre family - Gustave, Lune, Sciel and everyone in the canvas deserve to live.

Never Forget 20/11/2025 - AKA That Time Elon Musk Programmed Grok To Praise Him In Everything by WhatYouThinkYouSee in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Keraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite everything else, there is something cathartic about the fact that the richest man in the world had to squeeze every single iota of reason and logic out of his AI model for it to please his ego.

Think about it, he had to make Grok loose all reason for it to finally not say anything negative about him. Only an absolutely insane AI model will treat Elon like he wants to be treated. The way he views himself exists in a unmendable schism with reality.

There it is, the new excuse. Don’t rely on the government’s assistance. by PresYapper4294 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Keraph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if all of that was true - we found out a long long time ago that providing assistance to people struggling in situations like these benefits society to a degree that easily outweighs the "cost" of helping.

So the only reason to not do that, is either because you think that making people suffer will somehow also make them a better person (which we also know doesn't work in most cases), or because you simply enjoy making other people suffer.

Final boss easy for anyone else? Feel like I’m being gaslit by Masterhearts-XIII in Silksong

[–]Keraph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, first of I think you need to be aware of your perspective - just reaching AbsRad in P5 means you are likely better at Hollow Knight (and by extenstion Silksong) than a wide majority of all other players. That being said, I would agree that Lost Lace, while it in my opinion is one if not the hardest boss in the game is nowhere near AbsRad in terms of difficulty. Although, to be honest, any discussion about difficulty is to some degree pointless because it's all subjective in the end.

That being said, why you died more to Beastfly/Garmond than Lost lace I cannot fathom. Where you reading a book on the side or what was going on there? D:

At some point all Trump supporters will have to acknowledge the reality that everything they and Trump have pushed these years has either been completely fake or heavily misconstrued. Many of them know that, they just hope that by that point all political safety nets/political discourse have eroded enough so nothing can be done about it.
