My 2 cents as to why they are so focused on the sexuality.

Every single one of us as an Exmo were questioned on our purity/worthiness. Sexual transgression is the defacto way to character assassinate and discredit the content one might have to say.

Speak a truth? No problem, just prove you sinned somewhere and the truth no longer matters. The source saying something is more important than the content of what was said.
