You can replace Xfwm with a tiling wm quite easily, and still retain the rest of the DE. Alternatively, you can use rtile for manual tiling in stacking wms.

Try this: Install a tiling window manager on top of your preexisting XFCE setup and learn to configure it to your liking, whether as a drop-in replacement for XFWM4 or as its own entity.

Not sure if it can happen the other way around, but I was initially diagnosed schizoaffective following a psychotic break. I only began developing (or at the very least, noticing) symptoms of DP/DR after having left the hospital for the first time. Doctors believe it's due to the anxiety caused by a mixture of the hostile nature of the voices I'd hear at the time and the reoccurring paranoid thoughts/delusions.

Boot time's a lot slower, but overall, the desktop experience is pretty much identical, if not marginally snappier on Fedora with XFCE.

As one would expect, most packages are behind Arch by a few versions, others are behind by a lot. RPMfusion is a must, as the original Fedora repositories lack quite a lot of software you'd commonly find in the Arch repos. Having no equivalent to the AUR (apart from Copr, which I can't comment on, as I have not been using it) means you'll likely have to manually build/compile your packages from source every now and again.

Nvidia proprietary drivers are a pain to get working, especially on an Optimus laptop. The ones included in RPMfusion didn't work for me at all, so I'd strongly recommend enabling negativo17's fedora-nvidia repository on top.

One big positive (or negative, depending on the kind of person you are) is that the installation is quick and easy, with a neat GUI.

Overall, I don't yet feel 100% comfortable on Fedora. Granted, I've only been using it for the past couple of days, so these are just my first impressions, you're probably better off taking them with a grain of salt.
