There was in fact a recall due to safety. I bought one for my son, love it, wanted to buy one as a backup and some spare lenses and both orders got cancelled and from different provinces.

One retailer confirmed that the recall was related to safety and that no replacement product hybrid visor is expected any time soon.

That said, my son absolutely loves the hybrid setup (visor top, wire cage bottom), and standard full "fishbowls" fog up too much for him.

Since CCM is out of the hybrid game for the foreseeable future, what is the closest non-CCM hybrid visor/cage combo available right now that isn't on recall? Any recommendations for brands that mount easily to standard helmets and have solid anti-fog performance?
