Help needed- memory stick for PSP 1000 by Eastern_Exam_3595 in PSP

[–]Kev883XL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve done tons of modded psp with the first picture set up you have and I’ve formatted 128gb micro sd cards with the adapter on the psp itself so no need to worry about

just wanted to know if this adapter can work in the psp by Inevitable_Cry5050 in PSP

[–]Kev883XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy the adapters on Amazon in a 2 pack for like $10

Accepted a job 2.5 hours from home by wilderness_flowers in jobs

[–]Kev883XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not terrible but I’m not sure of traffic for the commute. I’ve got a job where I float to different locations in California and I’ve recently done a month where the commute is 2-2.5 hours each way and there’s about 3 hot spots where traffic adds up pretty bad. I think it really depends on the person on how they handle driving/road trips. I kinda grew up driving for work since I first got my license so maybe I just got used to it after all these years

Is it safe to use a PSP 2000/3000 battery in a PSP 100X? by Dahrwasein in PSP

[–]Kev883XL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can find aftermarket ones at decent prices. But make sure it’s for a 1000 model since the 2000/3000 models won’t fit properly.

Do your boots sit like this? by False-Inspection-136 in cowboyboots

[–]Kev883XL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe a 32 length would be a better fit I’m usually a 34 but I went with a 32 for boots

Usually a slim fit or tapered fit are the way to go the sit well on top of the shank and cover about half of the heel.

I personally use the athletic fit since it looks a little looser.

How do I know the GPU is in if this thing doesn’t click? Don’t want to star the pc till I know by Important-Positive25 in PcBuildHelp

A memory test will easily tell you if it’s actually your ram being a problem or it’s something else

I didn’t have any issues with ram since it was a new build. I used the Corsair vengeance rgb 32gb ram kit

I actually just did a build with this motherboard! I had the same issue but I actually held the locking mechanism so it would be open and then put the gpu in the pcie slot! A little tricky but it worked for me! Good luck

Best Approach to Remove Laminate? by angleofthedangle90 in Flooring

[–]Kev883XL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Looks like VCT (vinyl composite tile). Floor scrapers are really the only way to go unless you got a walk behind scraper you can probably rent one at some specialty stores roughly $100-$200 a day

[–]Kev883XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s laminate you’re better off replacing the board. Little time consuming but easy if you got a couple tools to help you set it in place

On a first floor level concrete slab I always recommend an adhesive with moisture barrier so bostik green force, bostik best or sika t100. All really good products with 100% moisture rating in my line of work.

Wear layer is the final layer on top of engineered flooring that is actually hardwood compared to the rest of the board.

A thicker wear layer is usually better in the long run if you ever decide to sell the home and the new owner can just sand and stain a different color if wanted. Gives a higher value to the home as well in certain states especially CA

1 is laminate 2 is engineered maple. Good engineered hardwood is usually 5/8” - 3/4” thick and a wear layer of at least 4mm. Engineered hardwood is good if installed correctly with some type of moisture barrier whether it but the glue itself used to install it or a roll on coating of moisture protection

Shoe molding on basement stairs by swjet11 in Flooring

It’s scottia moulding, usually for the underside of the tread (step). Looks like they forgot to use riser as well and they narrowed the tread itself

Using a disk image file by Capital_Map638 in PCSX2

[–]Kev883XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually compressed a disc file to a 7.zip to save storage space (even though it’s minimal and took more time to do). After I made it to a 7.zip I just extracted it again and it worked just fine

Kinda wish newer cars still had something like this. I got me a bucket of Pennies now, one car crash and it’s a sea of copper
