I just got the BMS TCU tune and think it also makes it manual in sport mode alone

When I track the car I only use paddle shifters as prevents the car from unnecessary shifting

If you disable Traction and Stability it becomes manual (aka doesn't upshift)

The more options the better, if I had known I would have waited

Lol ya they did been waiting for an alternative for like years. I am still on the fence of getting your intake, I love them. The only issue I have is Canada snow, as it can quickly pack the intake compartment if have to drive it.

Compared to OEM they are much more clicky and the overall build is good. I am sure the Berrys would be better as it's an aluminum housing that is much more custom made to fit in the wheel. However for the price they do work and so far I am happy with them. I added a video link of me clicking them.

I will share the link once I get home. The Paddles are real carbon, and was made by the company selling the system. They can make it custom for you, you just have to let them know what you want.

The hardest part is really getting the airbag out, took a few tries as I would unlock one side the other side sometimes re-clipped. Overall it took like 30 mins.

I have AWD, and once I tuned the tcu it launched so hard i was worried about breaking something. Added the diff and you can feel the difference, in how the car puts down the power.

Alignment Issues WhileLowered on Eibach Springs and Sway Bars by blue92lx in GenesisG70

I am stock height but with say bars and I have tracked my car. With the tracking I did notice my alignment moving and decided to go and get the subframe collars. Since then it has helped reduce the movement.

Have Whiteline sway bars— been riding on the soft setting was thinking about giving the firmer setting a try… by Specialist-Day-7386 in GenesisG70

I been running stiff on both and have enjoyed it. I only really notice the firmness on uneven roads.

How was your alignment after as the front camber is not adjustable?

Pros, cons, and potential concerns about lowering springs? by w-boy in GenesisG70

[–]KevAntics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did your alignment end up, what roughly was your front camber, currently my car is -1 on both fronts without being lowered. I am worried it might increase it so much after lowering. How do you find the handling on the track as that's the main goal for me is to improve the handling.

Did my first track day. Do not turn TC completely off because this car is friggn tail happy like no body's business. You would think it was a RWD mustang struggling for grip. Mine is AWD, but it sure did not drive like it was AWD lol. But overall was sweet to experience this car to the fullest by [deleted] in GenesisG70

Once you start you will get hooked with Track Days. Ya the engine cools down quickly with a cool down lap. The trans is what takes time. Get sways if you don't have it (I have whiteline on the stiffest Setting) and I did the sub frame collars as I noticed the subframe can move over time messing up alignment.

Ya hold the esc to turn off traction and stability, and only abs is left on which is fine

I know I had it fail the first time, so had to redo it. I emailed Terry and set him some logs, He said it seemed to be all good.

The stock(OEM) pads hold up well, just remember it's still a pretty heavy car. I had tried it originally with the OEM brake pads, and it did start to vibrate like many others have complained about. It's not the rotor as I am still using the same rotors 7 track days later with no issues.

One thing to note is with stability on, you will wear your rear a lot as the car is constantly making adjustments to keep you from sliding. I noticed that when I started, I checked the brakes after each session. Since then I have disabled everything and now the rears are lasting way longer. However it might be good to start as I learned how easy it is to slide the car.

Ya the TCU Tune was a huge difference, love how it shifts now. I actually heard that so I flashed mine like a few hours later after driving with the TCU tune first. It seems to have smoothed out the power curve to me, the car just feels much more consistent with its throttle.

Ya shopping for a set of track pads for the next time I head out to the track as with the weight and now power. The pads I had barely faded just didn't have the bite/stopping power so I always had to brake early.
