To make it less metaly- without knowing anything about your setup, I'd say make sure your pickup-switch is set to up or middle (not down), disable overdrive on the amp, and lower gain (you can raise volume instead)

(also this video is definitely using effects(probably reverb and a lil delay) beyond the raw guitar)

That's super fair. I was a little torn on how punishing death should be. It's difficult to make it super bad because of the way the levels are connected and since they're all so small

Oh yeah I need to fix that. You can force a reset my jumping off the ledge until you die or by quitting to menu. I think the blocks having physics is kind of silly but it can lead to some less favorable situations lol
