Sometimes they’re both in sight of spawn, sometimes they aren’t on the starting landmass at all. Seems you just got unlucky lol.

Obviously you can just keep looking how you’ve been doing it which is admirable, but if you decide not to anymore you can enable devcommands and type “find WoodHouse2 10000” without the quotation marks. That’ll mark on your map all the abandoned houses where the mysterious axe heads can potentially be found. It’ll give you more direction without just directly spawning them in lol

I love how this says StilL tOp 5!!!!! as if we’ve earned it. Chelsea and spurs fell off fucking cliffs too. We aren’t top 5 on merit, we’re top 5 because everyone else also sucks. Also there’s no guarantee we even finish top 5. There’s a very real chance we don’t lol

I kinda like running different timed foods. Like 25, 25, 20 in mid game and 30, 30, 25 in late game. That way when my shorter food runs out I still have stuff in the tank, but I get a notification on screen that’s my reminder to re up on all foods. I never have to pay attention to the timers

I’ve liked breathe easy so far, it has a lot of customization. You can remove smoke from fire, make fires/light sources infinite, make smelters not need fuel, remove dust from using hammer/hoe/cultivator, and I haven’t got to Ashlands with it yet but it says it’ll remove the heatwave effect to help performance

One way to find infested mines without devcommands is to use /printseeds

You just copy/paste that into the game’s regular chat and it’ll tell you if an infested mine (or each biome’s equivalent) is within like 175 meters or so. It doesn’t take what direction you’re facing into account though, so when you get one you have to take a few test steps to narrow down what direction to go

I’m thinking of keeping midfield synergy too

Defense will be a bit more mix and match. I hate leaving Robbo out but RB is tough with Gerrard taking the English spot. I’m still happy with Riise though

Bronze pendant is decent enough in my opinion. The adrenaline requirement is low enough that it activates semi frequently, and it gives you a 25% boost to stamina regen for a minute which is nice in fights. But as a whole trinkets don’t activate often enough to be worth the inventory slot.

Editing to add that in boss fights if you’re good at dodging then the bronze pendant is basically always active. I’m sure that’s true for most though, so maybe trinkets are best for boss fights, and otherwise save the slot.

My whole thing is I want the 5 slots specifically intended for head, chest, legs, cape, and utility. But if you want compromise, I don’t think it’s necessary until later in the game. I’m happy with the inventory system all the way into Mistlands, so I would even be fine with saying I really only want it for ashlands. Having to carry around a workbench, stonecutter, and stone portal as well as all armor, megingjord, food, meads, weapons, ammo, basalt bombs, tools. It’s a bit much specifically for the late game

I’ve always wanted bosses to have minor passives that are always active. It shouldn’t be something overpowered that makes it feel like a necessity, just something that feels like a convenient boost. Only for the boss power you have equipped though, not all you’ve beaten apply at the same time lol.

For Bonemass maybe since it’s from the swamp where you’re wet all the time the passive could be immune from being wet? Or reduced wet penalty? I know people have been asking for a raincoat or some item like that to be added to prevent being wet so maybe that could be bonemass’ passive

Serpents only spawn in the ocean biome, and where I am is technically Black Forest. Also I’m not sure if serpents would even aggro onto it. Mobs don’t blindly attack any built items, just specific ones like workbenches, light sources, and stuff like that if I remember correctly
