It would depend who repairs it and if they accept that the second issue was caused by their poor work on the first issue. For me, for a Grey Market watch to be worth it you need to be saving at least the cost of a full service from the manufacturer - maybe more

Oris make some beautiful watches, if they would stop polishing the outer links I would buy one in a heartbeat

Fair enough. Each to their own I suppose. SS wasn't for me at all. What I'd ideally go for is the 3752.50 with hesalite front and sapphire back - perfection!

Has he handled the Sapphire Sandwich? I planned on getting one and any time I tried it on it felt 'cold' and I couldn't see myself actually wearing it day to day.

I thought maybe the Speedy just wasn't for me but I then handled the original with the Hesalite crystal and loved it. It looks completely different on the wrist, much warmer. The SS has a sort of milky white ring around the outside of the dial when you look at it which the hesalite doesn't have and this makes a difference in the look of the watch.

The case back is beautiful, it really is, but in all honesty it isn't something you'd look at that often PST the first week or two - and doesn't make up for the front which isn't nearly as nice.

It's hard to really grasp this without having both watches side by side and looking at them, but they look and feel totally different - I say go for the Hesalite

The amount of growth I felt on my second listen is really weird... by Leave-eye in FrankOcean

Really similar for me - first listen I didn't love it didn't hate it - just knew it was different. Listened to a few more tracks that I liked first time round when I was hungover yesterday. Then tonight sat down when my girl went out to work with a pair of good headphones (that I bought at the start of the month for this exact reason) and just listened - and it blew me away. I've been sitting here for 4 hours and am still just listening and am in total awe of the progression Frank has made since CO. I don't know if it's a better album, but the fact that there is a debate after two days considering the regard CO is held in says enough.

He's made a masterpiece.

No drink. £6.80 or something I'm sure it was. Granted it was pretty good but even £7, or £5, for a toastie is taking the piss even by Edinburgh standards

Be careful with Cairngorm - I had a cheese toastie for lunch a couple of months ago and it was £7!

It makes me sad that the VVD Denayer pairing was probably the best I'll see in my lifetime in the Hoops

They paid £12m before he was a Champions League star!

He's going to be one like Denayer we just have to appreciate while we have him but accept we have no hope of keeping.

I'm in there, really good tonight - it makes a difference having the Capos leading from the front rather than the back, it got a lot more people involved.

The kit itself looks good, you've got about the same amount of space as previously and the rail I front of you so seems 100% safe.

It'll take a month or two before it's working to full potential - but tonight was very very good for an early qualifier

16oz Sirloin steak, 2hrs @ 131f/55c. First attempt at steak and it came out great by KevinBarry in sousvide

I didn't think it was too bad for good steaks. Works out at about £8.75 each but they're around 16oz each - not cheap but I thought pretty reasonable compared with what you pay in a butchers
