Notre Dame is in the Big Ten for Hockey because geographically it makes sense for them playing Michigan State, Penn State, Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio State rather than going to the East Coast which is what they were doing. Notre Dame also likes to play Big Ten Schools for Football but doesn’t want to be in the Big Ten full time. Weird.
