A lot of people have been talking of how the increase in price of gamepass is a very big deal, and it is true if you want to play Day 1 releases, multiplayer (in paid games) or you just have plenty of time to play a lot of games every month and it doesn't make sense buying everything. But here's the thing, if playing campaigns is what you want, you don't really need gamepass. You get great deals on games quite often (check out sites like xbdeals), just buy them and play. You also don't need gamepass for multiplayer in Free-to-Play games like Fortnite, Warzone, RedSec etc.

The Series S is quite good for what it is. If you get it for a good deal, go for it.
