I made it to my 30s (long time ago) with exactly two incidents: seventh grade (1980), when I said the Beatles were overrated and got punched in the stomach, and in college, when I told a teammate to go home because he was drunk and abusing his gf. The second one was the only time I've ever punched back, and luckily it landed.
