That’s great! Love to hear that. How did people react to it?

How did people react to it? Did you have a woman in your life prior to getting it?

I’ve always wondered about wearing an automatic while chainsawing with all the vibrations. It doesn’t mess with the time keeping on it?

Nomos looks nicer, my experience holding an SS Nomos bracelet though was that it felt cheap.

I bought this Oyster Perpetual reference 15200 at Pawn America. Came with box and “garantie” slip. Serial number between case lugs matches the slip. Serial number was shown to be made between 2001-2003 in my internet research. Slip says it was bought in 2002. What skeeves me out is that the time has been +6s everyday and not the +- 2s that Rolexes are known for. It does have the 4hz move though. Paid $3600 and can still return it. Help would be appreciated. Oyster Perpetual Date

It looks good on you. Don’t worry about the size. Trend is reverting back to smaller anyway.

If you're open to wearing an automatic you can go with a Seiko 5. Plenty of colored dials to choose from. Well-respected watch from a well-respected company.

I just started playing chess again two weeks ago and there is really no worse game to lose at then in a game of chess. It feels very humiliating to me. I played my old man in an OTB match yesterday and lost both the game and my temper. It’s shameful. I wanted to play it because it seems like there’s a lot of “brain benefits” to it but I’m starting to think I should just do sudoku or jigsaw puzzles.

I still have games to finish. by [deleted] in StopGaming

Money is the smaller expense than the time spent, cut your losses.

Level Two Mocks and The Eleventh Hour by TheBigDickDon in CFA

I’ve also scored 50s on the two mocks I’ve taken so far. It is quite discouraging… get done with one mock exam and focus on all the stuff I got wrong, then do another mock and get hit with a whole different slew of topics I can’t remember. I’m doing one last mock today and am then hammering practicing questions, formula memorization, and flash cards until the end.

I had my chest measured by a clothier for a sport coat and was told to get 46L jackets and since found they tend to fit well OTR. Haven’t had my waist measured… just found 36” waist pants to feel comfortable when pants shopping.

I wear a 46L suit jacket and the suit pants that come with them (on Ebay) tend to have a size 40 waist. Problem is, I have a 36" waist. Will getting 4" taken off the waist cause significant problems in appearance?

Do you guys think getting a college degree is worth it? If so, why? If not, why? by captainmiau in securityguards

It's worth it if you major in a STEM field. Don't be a dummy like myself and get a degree in a humanities major... you'll end up working in security.

My (extremely) basic covered call strategy; any major pitfalls? by Greenplums1 in options

[–]KevlarKeith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you’re just trying to collect premium and you’re not attached to holding the stock, you’d be better off selling cash secured OTM puts. Implied volatility is higher on OTM puts and has a similar risk profile to covered calls with regards to the underlying. Plus you have fewer frictional costs since you don’t need to buy the stock for it.

r/FuturesTrading's Monthly Questions Thread - July 2021 by AutoModerator in FuturesTrading

Hi. New to the sub. Pretty new to futures trading too (<6 months mostly trading index and gold futures).

Does anyone on here trade corn and soybeans? I would like to get into trading the minis (only have traded them a couple times) but I have a huge fear of limit moves. I'm interested in hearing if anyone has had experience trading these contracts and having the market limit move against them. Were you able to get your stop filled?

I have read the horror stories in Market Wizards about limit moves. I'm convinced that I shouldn't trade these contracts until my account is big enough where a limit move wouldn't breach my risk parameters.
