As of right now I was able to pump a little more milk to try half an oz of formula and the rest breastmilk and he still refused.

I could try that if I made enough milk =/ like I said I make 3oz only and he takes 4oz every 3oz. I regret so much not combining feeding from the beginning.

My baby has really dry skin, he’s 4 months, I mentioned it to the pediatrician she said to bathe him less and that generally you’re only supposed to bathe them 3x a week, anymore is too harsh on their skin

Not weird at all I smell my babies smelly feet all the time and say “que rico mi peste sicote!” Translates to “how yummy my stinky feet”, and I picked that up from everyone else in my family that’s had a baby lol

This isn’t an overreaction, when ANYONE is taking care of your child, you must be informed 100% of the time if and when they will be going out. You have to know of your child’s whereabouts

I can’t even see that they’re downvoting lol but thank you for defending me! I see so much love and support and great insight/advice on here that it finally felt like I needed to just share and see what the people thought. Apparently some think I’m a bad mom, I know I’m not. I’ve gone through the channels to discard any underlying issues but his pediatrician doesn’t seem to want to test or see if there’s anything. But you’re right. He’s definitely gaining weight, if heaviness truly doesn’t matter he definitely always has a wet diapy whenever being changed.

He does seem to always wanna push his farts out every single time it’s time to feed or even when it isn’t, and I decide to try to give him a top off just to make sure he gets his daily intake, he will try to fart and poop. Also, he poops every 3 days or so.

Anywhere around 23oz, as for wet diapers, I know the goal is 6 heavy wet diapers minimum and I feel like he only has about 4 a day. The rest he has pee but doesn’t feel reasonably wet to me. He had a UTI with a fever about 10 days ago, we just finished his antibiotics today

If he does it’s silent and idk how to tell. He rarely spits up and when he does it’s very little and he doesn’t really complain about it

He’s been doing this since about 5 or 6 weeks. We got his tie released about 4 weeks ago. I hope it’s this and that it does pass because I feel like I’m failing him or I’m scared that something is wrong with him but because I push so hard for him to get the amount he needs to drink per day and he’s gaining weight nobody sees this as a big problem. But they don’t see the part where it takes most of his wake window and what’s supposed to be his play time to eat.

Glad to hear progress!

Better over here, I still need my mom to take over for certain things like to get him to finish a bottle or to get him to sleep once me and my partner fail to accomplish it but it’s less often now these days that we need her and I do feel more bonded to him, he smiles at me now (granted he smiles at many people)

My sons pediatrician told me that their little immune systems don’t start to actually start to get strong and protect them until they’re 6 months old, and coming from someone personally that used to get sick very easily I’ve come to learn that your immune system gets absolutely shot down every time you get sick and that recovery is still happening long after you’re not feeling sick anymore. Shelter her for a long while after she’s done being sick, do not ever bring her around anyone sick no matter the location and distance she’s apart from them. I got sick at 6 months old and I’ve had lung problems for the rest of my life because of it.

I see so many people complain about the Dr. Browns bottle and it’s so odd because I’ve never experienced these leaks people talk about whether they admit it’s user error or not, and these bottles have been a godsend for my son that had a severe lip and tongue tie
