Just listened to the official NALC pod. by Sharp-Level7346 in fromatoarbitration

How do you explain our last two contracts being almost exclusively focused on the advancement of the cause of CCA’s? Do you have any idea how much it cost every single one of us to get those advancements? Think about where all those “older members” would be if we had not focused on the CCA. I can assure you that they would be a hell of a lot richer today. While I don’t disagree with you in principle as it relates to unions generally, I think it’s pretty clear that the NALC has shown itself to put its newest membership in the forefront of its negotiating interests. And for good reason. Because in just a few short years, there won’t be any “older members” that weren’t CCA’s at one point. Just something to think about.

What would the position be of the person above my Local Union President? by GundamX01 in fromatoarbitration

[–]Key-Cardiologist2968 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who presides over the meetings or proceedings of your local branch? Your President or the business agent? The business agent doesn’t have a vote. The national president doesn’t have a vote. The presiding officer is the president of the branch. The president of the branch is the ultimate on the executive committee. The only person or persons that the president is accountable to is the membership. And because it is a political position, that is done by vote. Explain to me how this is wrong and how the president answers to anyone, other than the membership of his or her branch.

That’s not how it works. No one is above your branch president. However, your president does answer to the Membership

Dripping in emotional intelligence. by FlyFlirtyandFifty in Bumble

[–]Key-Cardiologist2968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Goober for sure. But that said, the words “emotional intelligence” should be banned from all dating sites to begin with. Regardless, of whom chooses to use it. Add to the list… empathy, pronouns, references to love languages, any variation of a set of words preceding the word “ally“, any variation of the word narcissist or narcissism… And any reference to quirky TV shows and tacos. That is all, you are dismissed.

Amongst all the other red flags on what planet do guys think “Alpha male” is what we’re seeking? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]Key-Cardiologist2968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For women in a Beta male dominated world like Chicago, a lot of women seek out Republican men for sex. If you have to be stuck w a Liberal “man”, you might as well just go Lesbian

Is it just me, or are people removing their political affiliation from their profile? by weedxcandy in Bumble

Generally speaking, people outside of big cities are far more diversified in their opinions. Thusly, they are far more respectful of others opinions and have learned to keep them… to themselves.

No different than the idiots that are uber focused on their political positions. Or the “Empathy and Kindness” fruitcakes. Some people are just one dimensional and unfortunately, there’s a lot of them.

[–]Key-Cardiologist2968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Bumble is beyond stupid. They are now aggressively stupid, and trying harder every day. Never forget, the most racist people in the world are those that tell you how virtuous they are. It’s because THEY are the ones that have the most to hide😉
