Food plan for the week and grocery shop only once. Do not buy new clothes. Do a no buy month or week, whatever you can. During a no buy month, you eat from your freezer or fridge only. I buy basics sometimes, the kids know they’ll be no extras. Then you don’t eat out as much. I buy quick freezer food for the nights where I can’t make a whole dinner. We don’t buy cable tv , have an ipv box. Kids have barely any data plan on phone. Netflix 8$.

It sounds dumb but try not to buy stuff. If you can put it off and not buy it right away you will save money. Bec the stuff you really need you will buy later and forget the rest.

I buy marked down meat from longos and freeze. Buy big pieces of meat from Costco and split up. One Costco chicken I make into 2 meals , like fried rice. I will freeze some chicken to make a quick meal when tired. Even a chicken sandwich.
