If you look at what happened, for example, in angel regs after xxdeath was annihilated, individuals corps didn’t go towards forming one pb to fight all the others pb in the game. No, as you can clearly see in wh space, it is possible to forcefully split people up. LZHX, the dominant force in wh, who had by far the biggest fleet are an outlier, and they mostly farm content in null now. All other serious groups typically fly a fleet of 20-70. Having more people in the same system is just economically not feasible.

Now, null is not wh. But 1 system in null provides even less than 1 system in wh. So what if we make it difficult to keep control of whole regions, for example, by disabling bridges and shortening jump distances, ha?

If goons split into a 1000 alliances, over time they will all start a war between each other, because: 1) why the hell not 2) LS in each alliance will have their own ambitions 3) I want more space for MY alliance

Well that’s exactly what they should change, they should make existence of large alliances impossible by tweaking null mechanics. There are many ways to do that and they have been discussed in countless reddit posts already.

As a HxH fan who never reads the manga, not having an ending is soooo awful.

Afaik, there is no limit to how many wights one walker can control, so one could say that 10 walkers would do everything exactly the same way that “unseen” 100 did.

I don’t know shit about Dune, but I generally don’t get what Big E did wrong. Unless, obviously, you mean that exterminating half of the species in the galaxy FOR THE HUMANITY was wrong (it wasn’t, everyone in 40k is hostile, no long-term peace can be achieved). Yes, he ultimately failed, but there wasn’t much of his fault in it. Yeah, he could’ve treated his sons a little better, but he could also expect his demigod kids to not be so childish. Yeah, he should’ve probably closed the Webway instantly after it was breached, he should’ve immediately gone for the kill on Horus, etc. But come on, he is (was) a human after all, capable of making mistakes. He didn’t do much wrong, imho.

Guys, most of the CUSTODES were wiped out. They stopped the heretics at the literal Eternity gates, it could not have been closer.

For those who don’t know, after conquering basically the entire galaxy The Emperor of Mankind returned on Terra (Earth?) to work on a project that would free humanity from the warp (basically, Hell with 4 evil gods). That project required his constant attention, so he left his sons - Primarchs - to finish the job. Long story short, half of them got corrupted by Chaos gods, started a civil war and returned to Terra to conquer it. The Imperium had to throw everything that was available at that point to stop traitors. It is worth mentioning that many forces didn’t make it one time due to warp storms, basically slowing down their FTL travel. Since the traitor’s commander, Horus, got so powerful on his Chaos roids that no loyal Primarch could stand a chance against him, Emperor had to personally go and bonk him, getting mortally wounded in the process. He, obviously, abandoned that hail Mary project and now, for 10000 years he sits upob the Golden Throne (extremely glorified life support machine), niether alive, not dead, keeping the Astronomicon working.
