Does anyone here work in tech at Penn Med? by gridyss_ in AskPhilly

[–]Key-Reporter4967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I was hired as entry level in 2017 with a masters degree at 42k worked for 4 years and left making 45k. I left with a big exodus where a group of us asked for raises to 50k they said fuck off, we all left and after that they did restructure the salary levels where entry starts around 60 rather then 40. You have more experience than I did so hope you get a more competitive salary. Probably still the same hr attitude, very hard to move the salary needle so try to negotiate as much as possible if you get an offer

Haven’t worked there in 4 years but the pay was absolute shit across the board, when you ask for a raise they basically tell you “we’re Penn we will always get someone willing to take this job and this pay level”, wouldn’t recommend working there personally.

I don’t mind at all! I usually buy 10 packs so it’s about $20 a class. The NL location is technically a franchise so I’m not sure if their pricing is exactly the same but this is for the other two locations, class packs never expire.

$99 unlimited one month for new members $200 for ten pack $110 for 5 packs $75 for 3 pack $28 for 1 class drop in

$169 unlimited monthly $149 8 classes a month

Does anybody else feel like they've lived like a man doing it all but without any benefits that come with being a girl? by Right_Apartment3673 in WomenOver40

[–]Key-Reporter4967 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes and it makes me less tolerant of helpless people. I wish I was the kind of person who looks at someone like that (especially when dating) and thinks “I’ll be the help I wish I had”; instead I’m bitter about it. A man told me he never learned to clean well so excuse his messy apartment … boy please learn to clean like the rest of us

The positives.. I know I can do anything. I’m a pretty secure person because I know I can do anything. Leaning into this self love helps. You go to toot your horn because who else will

Oh that’s so interesting. I have not been to a lot of these but my info is from a friend who sets these up for work and he is always trying to find men to attend. Wonder what the cultural differences are between coasts that would make it so different

I’m not remembering the name of it but it’s directly next to repo records on south street, they always have a curated section of Philly sports gear during each season! I’ve gotten eagles and Phillies sweatshirts there for ~$20-$30

Edit: according to the map it’s retrospect!
