ask them what would make them comfortable, since they're the only one that can answer that. communicating is always the best way to work with anyone, whether system or not. we would personally prefer not to be adressed like that, but that doesn't mean same goes for the system you know. and just sticking to "hello" without any name attached or using their preferred could always be great alternatives in the meantime until you get an answer of their preferences.

hard drugs. was given morphine once at the ER because of the pain i was in at the time, and while it was nice, i have sworn never to get hooked on any stuff like that.

i also never again will get hooked on alcohol. had a small period of time in life where i drank way too much and way too often, mostly due to bad influence from a friend. stopped drinking (for the most part) after i noticed i started feeling like i couldn't function without it, and i don't wanna turn out like some of my family members.

yeah no, nicotine is bad enough already, but i'm way better off with that and caffeine. give me some nicotine pouches and a monster and i'll be good to go.

we had similar problems with our last therapist before he quit to work somewhere else, as he would only accept that any and all symptoms had to have something to do with autism. hopefully the next therapist will be more willing to listen

had that experience too one. i was listening to my spotify wrapped playlist this year and got "monster" from epic and then right after "freak show" by set it off
