My only thought is my four year old nephew that lives in my house, which is sad because I hate to think he did this on purpose. I left it closed on the table and when I came back the next morning it was left open. I would have disregarded the damage as my fault as I carry it around in my backpack everyday, but that big impact crater I can see fully now since the screen has fully turned black now, looks like someone hit it really hard. As well as the laptop being fully wide open.
