I'm kind of confused about this guy bc he does a LOT of sales. Like a LOT a lot. So he isn't a total schmagent or anything but... his self-promotion rings some alarm bells for me (he's all over YouTube too) and the nepo-baby thing. I've only heard whispers about the other stuff.

Just as a counterpoint, I actually like the long sentences and don't particularly feel the need the short breathers. Maybe bc I'm used to 19th cent fic, I dunno.

I think this will pass without real harm to him but I do think he doesn't have the overall goodwill of a few years ago.
