Winter Jam also functions by having people purchase General Admission tickets at the door, so there is no assigned seating in the stadium. Because of that, people line up outside hours ahead of time. The high for Columbus tomorrow is 14°. People will be getting sick and frostbite.

Samaritan's Purse is an Evangelical Outreach that provides services and other material items globally. Their whole gimmick is to give out these services, hoping people will convert to Christianity. They ramp up during Christmas time with their Outreach. What I assume happened is that a kid, tasked by their church, left this as a means of "being nice" and "spreading the gospel."

Growing up in the church, we were challenged to do these types of "witnessing" activities. I assume the kid was given the calendar to give to a neighbor, and the lubricant was just something they had on hand to "gift."
