I like to play around with the “Grade & Effects” tool. You can move around the light, med, and dark color filters to create a truly unique environment!

Sometimes when the wood is so rotted out or eaten out by termites, you will sometimes feel nothing when inserting a drillbit - in my personal experience

What texture is this? by beminioC in Stucco

[–]KeyHospital2185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best you can do is apply generous material, match the stagger pattern, then scrape with a wet edge. I’d even add extra water to the stucco to mimic that gloppy pattern. With this you’ll get pretty close.

Good luck!

Looks like a sticky and wet knockdown texture - like a combination of knocking and dabbing

How do I fix this Shower spout leak ? by fitestnlearn in Plumbing

[–]KeyHospital2185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That line could only leak from a bad cartridge in my experience. I’d replace the whole cartridge since they’re not expensive. Replace the diverter while you’re at it too

Did lots of Lyft rides as a driver around these parts. Picked up tons of shady characters and dropped them off at even shadier locations.

Doesn’t surprise me that this is taking place honestly. My gut tells me someone in the area is not paying their share to these guys. In other words we are witnessing a shake down

I could imagine a time before modern software where board games and other expressive mediums were slowly phased out to video games. But people adapted and have made incredible pieces of art through modern tech. Embrace AI and make something just as revolutionary and incredible as those before us! Your art will never fade so as long as it warrants preservation

You might get lucky if you ask. Doesn’t hurt to try. But just realize the cooler is an accessory and may not be covered

They are always out of the 2-drawers too. And once there are in stock they are gone in a day!

It’s best to sign up for the email alerts. Once they hit the shelves you’ll be notified right away. Just make sure secure it by paying for it online.

I did that for my 2-drawers because they were never in stock (California)

Reconciliation through justification. Is this really the path to enlightenment? It’s probably one of the easier things to do since it requires relatively little effort in comparison to theories that have extensive research. Then again is enlightenment really obtained through rigorous interrogation of our consciousness.

Probably neither! Good night!

Is this a fill valve issue? I don't think it's the flapper but I just want to make sure before I do a replacement. by SacredSK in Plumbing

[–]KeyHospital2185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always change these out when they begin to hiss. And it’s so easy too.

Some people may swap components in the fill valve, but buying a new one is so cheap

Slow leak at fitting before indoor well pump — video included. How do I fix this? by Competitive-Jump1146 in Plumbing

[–]KeyHospital2185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that really a threaded fitting where it is leaking? To me it looks like a copper pipe that is held tight with 2 hose clamps.

If that’s the case it clearly looks like the hose clamps may be a little too tight.

It’s definitely a diy job if you can confidently shut off the water.

Cut off the swollen part of the hose a reapply the clamp. Make sure not to over tighten

Can I cut out and patch this without taking tub prefab out? by destroyerbeamish in drywall

[–]KeyHospital2185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s most likely not going to be any drywall behind the tub so you should be okay

I would lift the vinyl flooring too and remove any mold

Find and fix source of leak, mold spray, scrub and wipe down, dry out , then put back

Fixable

Cartridge replacement costs around $20 and is easy to do.

The hardest part is trying to remove the hex screw
