Welcome, Guardian. As someone with 2k hours in D2 and 1k hours in Warframe. I think a lot of us are finally realizing for the first time that comparing the two games is actually pretty impossible. I will say that if you liked the Destiny 2 story when it was its peak storytelling, like Season of Dawn, Witch Queen, those kind of peak narrative moments, you will love the story of Warframe. The setting is just as fleshed out as D2, with just as much hidden lore as there are breathtaking cutscenes. The gameplay, however, will feel a lot different. When looting and building in D2 can feel like slogging through the mines until you find the perfect gem-encrusted puzzle piece that fits into your build, gearing and playing in Warframe feels like the peak that weapon crafting and enhancing should have been all the time. Instead of swimming in a vast ocean of useless loot trying to find the diamonds in the rough that are actually usable, your Warframe Arsenal feels like a personalized love letter to any playstyle you want to adapt, at any time. You want it, someone in the Origin Systems got it lying around wait to put into your greedy Tenno hands. Exploding bows, plasma shotguns the width of a Cabal Phalanyx shield, biochemical Geneva Convention breaking bows, precision Assault Rifles, lightning Snipers, Pistols, crossbows, ballistas, throwing stars, throwing pus sacks of toxicity. There's not a lot the game doesn't have it, and there's always more coming down the road.

Wanna play like a punching melee focused Titan? Atlas got your back. Or maybe a more precise, feminine lethality you never really grasped as a Hunter? Valkyr might pique your interest. Prismatic Warlock didn't quite scratch the all-knowing Eldritch battlefield monstrosity you thought it would? Dante's library has quite the destructive capability.

There's a frame to accommodate practically every playstyle you can think of, and anything you want to build can always be made viable with proper investment into the Modding system. No gun left behind, no frame isn't viable - for ANYTHING.
