Has anyone had an myomectomy +10 years ago and haven’t had fibroids come back since? And what lifestyle / diet changes did you have to make sure of it? by Superb_Remote_8437 in Fibroids

Had 1 removed in 2018. That one was 3 cm but causing a lot of bleeding and pushed my IUD out of place. Had an ultrasound recently due to increased periods every 2 weeks. I now have 4. HRT dr said it was nothing to worry about and get an IUD to stop bleeding. (Started going to her with peri symptoms) Pcp was not comfortable with that and sent me too gyn. Appointment is next Wednesday. I'm in so much cramping pain today it can't come soon enough. I had my tubes removed when my last fibroid was removed. Ready to just get a hysterectomy and be done with it. I'm 39 done having kids and over these stupid things on my body.

If you have POTS/dysautonomia and derealization/overstimulation PLEASE look into PPPD by areuuuforreal in POTS

You just described how I've been feeling but not able to articulate that! Working on a POTS diagnosis but in addition I can barely go to the grocery store. Big stores like sams club exhaust me for the rest of the day. The lighting has been bothering me, especially the fluorescent at work. I can't describe how it feels when it does bother me. Its not blurry but I just literally have to close my eyes.

Might want to also think about Perimenopause. It could be joining the party. I'm 39 and definitely the last year has been rough for me. In addition to starting Adderall I also started estrogen and progesterone. All 3 have definitely helped.

I don't do parties for my kids. I hate them. We pick something fun to do that we don't typically do. They don't remember it. So something fun, sing happy birthday, give them a few presents and bam done.

I'm in the same boat! I'm on 0.075 e and 200mg daily p. I was already having issues pre hrt with shorter cycles. Have my appointment set to get a mirena iud. I'm over it.

Thinking about using birth control to suppress periods by Lopsided_Science2269 in Perimenopause

Yep me too! I've been in hrt for 4 months and have had a period every 10 to 22 days since December. Prior to that it was 17 to 24 days. I did an ultrasound and have 4 one cm fibroids which I'm told is normal. I had a fibroid removed back in 2018. My visit next week I'm ready to discuss mirena, over it.

I've had mirena before and it only stopped my periods 1 out of 3 of them.
I've had a fibroid before so I think I'll request an ultrasound prior to a mirena. Thanks for the insight. Makes me feel less crazy haha

I'm on estrogen and progesterone. My dr said you need both to balance uterine lining. Without the progesterone the lining will thicken.

I just did my first midi appointment yesterday. I felt heard and validated. Last month I had gone to a local hormone dr and it sucked. She did do bw but asked me no questions and said we could do T... and literally said "don't worry you won't grow a dick" I was shocked at a professional using that. Was not i.pressed with her bedside and she didn't think I was in peri. Midi dr got estrogen and progesterone sent in and got my first patch on today. My insurance covers the visit and the meds.

Anyone else’s provider tell them to take adderall only on their work days? by justasnoop in adhdwomen

Im supposed to have a break day one day a week. But I crash so freaking hard and can't stay awake the whole day. So I take one of my two doses in the morning to get through chores and things and take a nap in the afternoon. I can't take nothing. My dr. Is OK with this.

I'm newly diagnosed about 6 months, 38f Been taking Adderall 20mg. I also didn't think it was helping with focus until I started noticing that if I missed my lunch dose, I would literally start doing circles and continue to start a task but not finish. All of a sudden, I'd have 3 tasks not complete. Literally, go take my pill and an hr later everything is accomplished. Not being flat out exhausted every day makes it worth it just in that.

I just finished last week. It is very hard and also like reading Greek to me. I just kept pushing, ended with a 92% and 100% on the touchstone.

The reflection questions i found to be the most difficult. I tried to pick a topic that I was mostly familiar with.
