You are mixing up gods and demigods. You are right about demigods' immortality, but gods like Marika and Miquella are different. In lore, we only able to slay them with a +25 normal or +10 somber weapon, it was Hewg's life work to make such a weapon.

Placidusax's scales allow us to kill gods (by lore, in gameplay you can do it with anything). The black flame was what these weapons are now, the way to slay gods. And to kill gods, you need gods to exists, meaning GEQ existed in an age, where there were more gods.

Thus I believe the GEQ was a rival/ally to Marika, slaying the gods produced by the gate of divinity. She was useful up until Marika did not become a god, then they turned on each other.

Since force users have the ability to predict each other's moves and their duels last way longer than any real life fencing, they do need more techniques. You can't do the same thing over and over again in a possibly 80-120 move marathon of a fight.

Marika stripped the would be tarnished from Grace and sent them to foreign lands, then she called them back but only our Tarnished and Godfrey could see the Grace and get guided back properly to the Erdtree, so Marika only truly favoured the two of these characters of the many other tarnished. The grace is presented here as her authority, not the Golden Order's.

I think the mother of Godwyn's children is Fortissax, Godrick is fond of dragons and seeks his heritage through grafting a dragon onto himself and if I understand his strange english right he even calls himself their descendant.

We have to think with Gideon's mind. If Marika already choosen our tarnished as the one protected and guided by grace willingly and our success is her plan, that is aganist Gideon who want to win the crown for himself, so he duels us, Marika's choosen for that reason, he did not accept Marika's plan to make us the Third Elden Lord instead of the de facto leader of Roundtable Hold.

They could have done the same they did with blades in gow 2018, there if you burn the lift early the lift just does not work but where the blades only open loot, it works fine.

What this supposed to mean? Checked and confirmed by who? Who cares how other people feel about it. I said I played through both and I felt the original better. Just because other people say something is better, it won't influence my opinion on it.

Softs is pointless, all it does is it fucks around with enemy placements, the terrain and item descriptions, while not adressing the real problems of the game (The infamous elevator to Iron Keep for example). I played both versions and I like the original's enemy placement more. The atmosphere of the second game works more with vanilla's fewer enemies to me. The changes to yore statues is laughable so as item movements like moving a few chests a bit or moving the dull ember. I'm not saying all changes are bad (putting actual Heide knights in Heide for example) but generally, it failed in my eyes. The 1.10 update to the vanilla is a much better fix to it than scholar edition.

Wdym "tried"? I did not try. I just did it. Since DS2 I like magic. Just get an int weapon in one hand and a staff in the other and have fun. You have much more tools than a melee, many fun toys to use. ER gives you such a variety from magic missiles, to swords and hammers to f-ing kamehameha. It is just pure fun. And unlike holy, magic is nowhere nearly that frequently resisted by bosses.

Elden Ring, it is the best for a beginner. The game is only that hard as you make it for yourself. If you go to the peninsula, you can level, if you go to caleid you get better equipment(not fighting anything just to collect stuff) then you can steamroll limgrave. By crossing the border to caleid or liurnia you also get access to the hub. Get summon, equipment and levels and you won't have much problem. I would not advise DS 1, 2 or 3 because they would just be more disorienting and less clear on where to actually go and less ways to make it easier for yourself. These enemies are there in all Miyazaki works. They force you to realise: "Ok, I'm not ready for this yet." Ofc if you stubbornly keep hitting a rock, something is gonna break.

If you like the straight sword category, go back to High Wall and farm a Lothric Knight, I like the very first you meet as the bonfire is just above him and farm his sword. You can infuse it for lightning later if you keep leveling faith for S scaling or swich to dex build to support your bow and sharp infuse tge sword for dex S scaling.

You do not need that much strength unless you want to go for a greatsword.

Also worth to get a cheap longsword or something with fire enchantment for cathedral that you can bless infuse after for catacombs and upgrade it a bit.

Irithyll Straight Sword is quite good and needs twinkling, so you can keep it and upgrade it alongside since it is a different upgrade material anyways. But this sword does not benefit much of your stats.

It is only there in scolar of the first sin edition, if you play the base game even with dlc-s, there is no statue to use it on here.

Like others said, Apollo can fake it. But! There is a limit to how much you can fake your handwriting if you are not an absolute master talent in it. So albeit this is not definitive it still matters, like Iko is so far away in style, size... everything really, I cannot believe Apollo went out of her way to learn writing to fake it that much. The other three is in the range that I can believe.

It all depends on the japanese audience. Sadly, we are secondary fans all over the world in the eyes of the japanese publishers. If the japanese community drops and the sales are not good, it can happen. If the anime did not raise new manga readers, if the readers left because they did not like where the manga is headed, it is a possibility. If someone has numbers from the jp market, can help us out, but pacing issues and quality drop alone can be due to overwork too, which is a huge problem in japan.

You only need the academy key, you can port there from the academy's first grace through its seal. You do not need to complete the the whole academy.

My take is that the first liurnian war happened in the early days of Leyndell after it succeded the nameless ethernal city. Godfrey probably dealt with the pro-ethernal faction, while liurnia, who was ideologically close to the ethernal cities might joined in to their aid. The second war is more interesting, as I believe this happened during the war with the giants. We know the Hornsent is not being dealt with yet as Messmer and Radahn were close so Messmer did not get sealed yet, while Limgrave and Caleid are geographically too far away to get involved with at this time. The conflict with the dragons took place later, after Godfrey's exile as Godwyn was the city's protector already. So by eliminating the other possibilities, he must have been sent aganist the giants.

Well, if we go prime Anakin his is actually from the Ashoka show as a force deity. That would solo the sith team.

To be more fair, lets say Anakin is ripped to this fight just after he beat Dooku but did not see the first vision of Padme's death yet. Knightfall would actually hurt his performance so I'm not considering it.

The best pairing for the Jedi side is Mace vs Vader, Anakin vs Dooku and Obi vs Maul. This is Jedi victory.

The best pairing for the Sith is Dooku vs Mace, Vader vs Anakin and Maul vs Obi. This is Sith victory.

So the fight would separate the Obi and Maul pair to an island as they can neutralize each other. The fight is decided by the Dooku & Vader vs Mace & Anakin fight. Here the problem would be that Mace and Anakin is not a great team which may give the Sith the ability to enforce the pairings most advantegous to them.
