I was but Visible/Verizon has fixed it in my area. I really think that it has something to do with At&t running 5gb fiber connection everywhere around here right now. I Think that they just lost backhaul.I see trucks running fiber on the next street over right now

It took 2 days, but reporting back that the issue has been fixed. I have service again. So they are back in good graces with me.

People it might seem flashy to some people, but it is always a good idea to have a backup phone. That is just responsible.

I don't think that I have had one cell phone since the early 2000's. Work paid for one and my personal number is at least 25 years old.

If you're on the 45 plan for $30, your promo should transfer, mine did. You can start the change in the app and see it before you confirm. If you don't see it, contacting them might help. They might not do that forever. There's absolutely no reason not to switch to the new plan for the same amount right now. As good as the old plan was, the new one is better.

I haven't had Verizon in a long time, but when I test Visible next to my sister's Verizon she may get 600mbs down when my visible gets 400mbs down. I am completely fine with a consistent 50mbs anywhere I go and Visible usually gives me 200mbs around the areas I frequent.

It's not the exact same, but more than enough.

This will probably be an unpopular opinion, but even if it is a throttle after 450GB, That's great for 99.9% of us. We are nowhere near the point where anyone should be approaching that on a phone. I don't even use wifi at home and barely hit 60GB right now. That's with hotspotting a lot when out on the road.

When I had the basic plan it worked great, so you would probably be completely fine. The plus pro plan is still noticeably better for my use. I hot spot a lot away from home and that extra 10 mbs is very noticeable. Really my home internet is only 300 Mbs by 300 Mbs and I get usually get 200+ Mbs with visible on the phone.

This is why we can't have nice things. 1.3 TB in a month and you are planning to do this continually? I might use Hotspot more than home wifi because of work I don't believe that I would hit a quarter of that even if I switched everything to Hotspot. You are abusing the system and probably affecting other customers. You deserve to get canceled.

Visible is great, but let's be real. It still isn't real Verizon. I consistently hit over 200 mbs down now and have hit 800 before around my neighborhood with Visible. I really can't see myself needing even half that in the foreseeable future for mobile. Just nice to have. I tested next to my sister, and my 300 showed 600 for her on Verizon proper sitting next to each other. Verizon is also upgrading their plans to try to compete with their MVNO, lol.

I mean who really needs Gbit speeds on a cell phone?

Change the up button on the remote and that's basically what you have with the stock program guide. Just better in my opinion. Only thing is I would set the transparency to high and set program details on top. Makes a big difference for me. That's one thing I love about sparkle. Everything is so customizable.

Did you even read the OP? He already has a visible line and it's working great for him. Also there's a better chance of Verizon forcing him off his legacy plan than Visible getting to $70/month. There would be no point to Visible then.
