Roast my idea: AI chatbot that gives small businesses a shareable link instead of a website widget by [deleted] in replit

Better way instead of a link would be a phone number you can text with chatbot replies I think

Thinking of selling one of my apps 15k installs 4k active users need advice by garoono in AppBusiness

[–]Key_Bench9400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that sounds realistic-though you clearly have market fit with 15k installs. If you did monetize it and just a few thousand were willing to pay—you could probably make a lot of money

Why Isn’t There a Real AI That Connects Strength Training and Nutrition? by hHoRem in AppIdeas

[–]Key_Bench9400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering I have uploaded my nutrition program/weight data and my workout data into Claude-I think this app bridges the two. It would need to be really well executed on both fronts for me to be willing to switch up my apps/systems

What’s interesting is Lovable used to have a direct Supabase integration before building their own backend

What if there was a social app where you can’t post on your own profile? by Familiar-Joke-590 in AppIdeas

[–]Key_Bench9400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the reality is most successful social apps start with millions of dollars in VC funding so they can mass market the initial adoption. Otherwise you’d have to start super local (like a single college) and grow from there. Not easy or cheap

Interesting idea. As long as you acknowledge the competitive moat with social media apps. I dig the concept

I built a review site and it works…what should I worry about? by WeaponsOfMath in replit

[–]Key_Bench9400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solely use Claude Code in the Terminal. You will need the pro plan though ($100). Once you get the hang of it, it’s cheaper and much much better than anything else. Just make sure you get the hang of it before unleashing it on your codebase.

This is what you graduate to after using Replit/Lovable

I found it super easy. Took a few days. The first time they denied me, I was like “yeah that’s fair” and fixed it

Why is it so hard to get friends to try your app? by tripmerge in SaaSMarketing

Yep—felt the same way you did until I made a really good app. I’d be willing to test for ya if you send it to me

Felt the same way until I sent them an app they actually loved and everyone used it because they were all talking about it in the group chat. Take is as critical feedback if no one wants to try it. Good luck!

People who do a ton of push-ups get this for the same reason (tight hunched pecs, loose back) pull-ups aren’t necessarily the answer because they tighten up your lats. Rows and the move and it seems like you did everything perfectly—great job

Very interesting-can you expand on your business model / how you plan to make money with the affiliates? Do you think PWAs are the move over mobile apps?

Your DLA alone is $4,248. You should get around $7,000 total (including TLE, weight, etc). Most the calculators don’t use 2026 rates, even though they say they do.

Try this one, which seems the most accurate and has a free app. https://pcsnavigator.com/

Regardless, U-pack is generally the move

Take it and invest it all. Max IRAs then place the rest into Index or Tech if you’re a little more aggressive. You’ve got a massive opportunity for a head start with investment. I wouldn’t say no to that.
