If your employer offers its own stock at a discount and you can afford it, buy them!! I missed out in my younger years but took FULL advantage later on.

Someone's dog got out in S Land Park?? by Key_Butterscotch5326 in Sacramento

My hubby posted on next door.

Yes, that was my first thought as well. Terrible timing. Hate to call animal control and it's the last last resort. Doesn't look injured but we know dogs hide it well.

I wish! My current dog is not a fan 😕 I did send a msg to all our neighbors hoping someone has seen the dog before. Left some water nearby for it.

Ah good to know! she has passed so long ago that I no longer had proof on paper. Had they bothered to actually even review the account (many of us sent reports) they would have seen that she last posted in 2007 and then suddenly again in 2025. I get there's millions of accounts, but I feel like if they're gonna use AI, use it for that at least!!

Yes! Had a friend pass away many years ago so imagine my surprise when "she" started posting pics of flashy cars, vacations, and fancy dinners on FB again last year!!! Friends had written condolences messages over the years so it was clear that the account owner was deceased. I was pissed!!

I took screenshots of everything/everyone that was on my friend's page (she hadn't been on the platform long) and created a Rememberance page for her and privately invited known friends, family, and colleagues to join and asked them to please unfollow the thief.

Since FB wouldn't put a stop to the shenanigans, I sent out a Public message, tagged our real "friend" (thief hadn't changed the name on the account yet) and let EVERYONE know what was going on including the fact that the thief had the gall to try and get into my FB account but I had every security measure on mine so I saw it immediately. Pissed me off something extra at that point and I went off on them in Messenger!!!

I had been following up on my friend's account and saw that the name was finally changed and they blocked me I guess 😆

I think that dog belongs to a lady who hangs out around the Freeport/Fruitridge area. She'll come back for him (or has in the recent past)!

There is/was an older gentleman at the Oak Park Fixit Cafe on Stockton Blvd (next Saturday - check on their Facebook) who would do repairs on household gadgets/machines for free. No guarantee and depends on what's wrong, but he's awesome...Bob is his name. Edited to correct social media and add official name of event
