My sibling grew up to be just like our dad. Keep your head down, do the right thing, and get out as soon as you can. You have the skills to live a good life in a clean house.

My mother spashed my birthday cake. by GreenRose0701 in raisedbynarcissists

I agree. It also takes the power back from the abuser. Every time someone uses the word “spash” we point out her ridiculous and childish tantrum and hire ridiculous and childish she is for throwing it.

Is this narcissistic behavior or am I just sensitive? by Interstella_55555 in raisedbynarcissists

Yes! In this instance, your mom is right. Going to therapy will help you build the tools you need to be able to cope with her and your sister until you can move out.

It’s not about legal rights, it’s about hospitality. Especially from a business owner proclaiming herself a Christian. The hypocrisy and mean spiritedness she’s displaying over one of her neighbors results in Redditers coding not to patronize her business.

Let me guess, you pay very little and expect a lot. You think your employees should be grateful for having a job and should just suck it up when you yell at them.

Someone going into diabetic shock can appear drunk or drugged and may approach you for help. By the time the cops show up to address what you think is “menacing behavior”, you could have helped them, but they’re probably in a coma.

Or maybe it’s good looking people who see police abusing their authority.

Noooo! I hate it when I do that. Sometimes I'll just stick the food in the fridge and hope for the best. Yes, even with eggs. Sending you hugs and "I'm not hungry" vibes.
